Not many people know this, but Melissa Dougherty and I go way back. Early in her Christian walk she had some Jehovah's Witnesses come to her door and began to teach her. Being the smarty that she is, Melissa quickly realized that their message did not match up with the Bible. She began to research and stumbled across me.

A few years later we were surprised to see each other at the old Witnesses Now For Jesus convention in Pennsylvania. One of the memories that sticks out to me was when we were sitting at a lunch table and everyone was talking about Jehovah's Witnesses except us. Melissa and I talked about Mormonism. Go figure.

So, all these years later and we are still talking about Mormonism. Go figure. If you don't know who Melissa is, you have to start watching her YouTube videos. She interviews talking heads whose expertise range from, New Age, New Thought, New Apostolic Reformation, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormonism, and a host of other topics. She also does funny satire videos. We don't have the same sense of humor, but it is definitely twisted in the same direction. She also wrote a book, which I will link in the first comment.

Melissa is a sharp apologist, and you will be greatly encouraged and entertained by her work. God is using her in extraordinary ways, and it was an absolute honor and privilege to be interviewed by her. I hope you enjoy our conversation.

I've got bad news for those who deny the Deity of Christ. Jehovah's Witnesses in particular claim the doctrine of the Trinity was created in 325 AD. This mosaic, dated in 230 AD, has an inscription that says, 'God, Jesus Christ'.

The Mormon Church is now providing sleeveless undergarments for women. There were long lines of people waiting to get theirs. My question is, why weren't these provided in the first place and why are they allowed now?

Latter-day Saints in Utah and across the U.S. have been itching to buy the faith's new sleeveless garments. Well, now they can — online and at church stores.

Mormons will focus on Nelson's humility in asking women to edit his conference talk. While its not a problem asking for help for other speeches, why would a prophet of God ask someone to edit his God-inspired conference talk?

Don't miss the importance of this. Mormons are taught that General Conference addresses are as if you are listening to God himself. Imagine Jesus coming to His mother and saying, "You know, Mom, I'm not sure I worded it right. How does this sound? 'Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves'." (Matthew 7:15)

I am preparing for a presentation I am giving about how to discuss the Personality and Deity of the Holy Spirit with Jehovah's Witnesses. I recently wrote two articles on this topic for my ministries' newsletter. Part of my preparation for the presentation is to go through some of the research I've already done on the topic, including the two articles from earlier this year.
That's when I noticed a Freudian slip in the first article. I wrote, "The verses listed below are from the Watchtower’s version of the Bile, the New World Translation."

I meant to say Bible.

I once had a very "spirited" conversation with a Mormon cowboy during one of our mission trips to Manti, Utah.
