It’s a powerful thing—beginning the day in prayer! Making space to listen, to speak honestly with God, to ask Him to move in the hearts and lives of every one coming, and to deepen our relationship with Him. Add coffee and community, and it’s a beautiful way to start Sunday.

This Sunday at LOGOS, we are kicking off an exciting brand-new series through the book of Romans!

Right at the beginning of Paul's letter, he makes a statement that sets the tone for everything: the Gospel stands on its own. It isn’t just an idea, a proposition, or one truth among many—it is the fixed, historical reality that Jesus is the risen King of the cosmos!

The Gospel doesn’t need us to defend it; it calls us to declare it to a world that stands on notice. It is the power of God to liberate all people from sin and death.
Join us as we dive into this beautiful text together. May it equip, encourage, and strengthen your faith!

The Sunday Rhythm: Come read up, prayed up, and ready to worship with your brothers and sisters in Christ.

See you Sunday morning!

Romans begins with a declaration: the Gospel is the power of God for salvation.

And as we gather on Sundays, one of the most important things we do is sing that Gospel together.

Did you know that we have Spotify and YouTube playlists that we update every week so you can prepare for that?

Before we gather, take some time by yourself or with your family and friends to listen through the songs we’ll be singing. Let their words become familiar. Let their truths sink in. Then come ready to add your voice to the voices around you!

And be sure to subscribe to the playlist and come back to it as we update it every week!

Comment “Playlist” and we’ll send you a link to the “This Week in LOGOS Worship” playlists.

There is something wonderfully uncompromising about Paul’s confidence in the gospel. He does not describe it merely as good advice, a philosophy for living, or one spiritual option among many. The gospel is God’s power at work, bringing salvation to everyone who believes.

That means the message of Jesus is never something we should be embarrassed to carry into the world. It is the announcement that God has acted decisively to save sinners through Christ, and that salvation is received by faith.

The gospel does not need to be made “impressive.” It needs to be treasured and proclaimed. And it remains God’s power for us, too, every time we are reminded that our hope rests not in ourselves, but in Christ.

THIS SUNDAY we’re kicking off a new RE:Verse series called Romans: Good News for All ✨

What is RE:Verse?
The name implies doing something, then backing up and doing it again. It’s our rhythm of reading and studying the same passages of Scripture—individually and together—throughout the week as one FBCSA family.

The letter to the Romans is one of the clearest and most powerful explanations of the gospel in all of Scripture. Paul begins with our need, but he doesn’t leave us there. He points us to the righteousness of God revealed in Jesus, the mercy we receive through faith, the freedom we have in Christ, and the new life we are called to live together as His people.

The gospel is more than good news about how we are saved, it is good news that reshapes who we are and how we live!

It brings us from sin to grace, death to life, strangers to family, and self-centered living to lives surrendered to Jesus.

As we journey through Romans together, our prayer is that we would see more clearly the goodness and glory of God, become deeply rooted in the grace of Christ, and live as a people whose lives proclaim that the gospel truly is Good News for All.
