Registration & Tickets

Q: What determines if it’s $20 or $25?
A: Register early and get the $20 price! Groups of 10 or more also get $20. After September 23rd, tickets go up to $25. And registration will close once we sell out.

Q: Does everyone need their own ticket, even 12 year olds?
A: Yes, everyone attending needs a ticket.

Q: Do I need to register, or can I just pay at the door?
A: If we’re not sold out, tickets will be available at the door. But grab yours early just to be safe!

Q: What’s the registration deadline?
A: Registration closes whenever we sell out, so don’t wait too long.

Q: Are tickets refundable or transferable?
A: Not refundable, but you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.

Q: What does my ticket include?
A: The whole conference, a swag bag, and Chick-fil-A lunch on Saturday.

Q: How do I get the free t-shirt?
A: Register online by September 23rd! T-shirts will also be available for purchase at the conference.

Age & Who Can Attend

Q: Who is this for?
A: Everyone is welcome, and we recommend age 12 and up since we talk about real life stuff. We’ve had girls as young as 9 attend with their moms though, and there’s no maximum age. Girls 12 to 112 are welcome!

Q: Do teen girls need to attend with an adult? A: We do recommend it, mom, an aunt, or a trusted friend.

Q: Can men attend?
A: This event is for women and girls, though men will be serving behind the scenes in security and other areas.

Q: Can I bring a friend who doesn’t go to church?
A: Absolutely! You don’t have to attend any church at all to come to SHINE.

Q: Is this a good event for moms and daughters to attend together?
A: Yes! What a special gift to draw closer to God together.

Schedule

Q: Do I need to attend both Friday and Saturday?
A: No, but the ticket price stays the same either way.

Q: What time does registration/check-in open? A: Doors open Friday at 6pm.

Q: Do the breakout sessions happen at the same time? A: Yes, you’ll choose one at 10am Saturday morning and another at 11am, two total.

Food

Q: Is lunch included?
A: Yes! Chick-fil-A sandwiches on Saturday.

Q: Is there food Friday night?
A: No, make sure to eat dinner before you arrive!

Fashion Show

Q: What’s the fashion show?
A: We’re partnering with a boutique from Brownfield for a fashion show at lunch on Saturday!

Q: What should I bring?
A: Your Bible and all your friends and sisters!

Q: Is there a dress code?
A: Nope, just come comfortable!

Q: Will there be childcare?
A: Childcare will not be available this year.

SHINE West Texas is returning October 2 from 7pm to 10pm and October 3 from 9am to 2pm at Alliance Church Lubbock, and we cannot wait to gather again!!

This one is for every girl and woman in your life, ages 12 to 112, no joke! Whether you’re bringing your teenage daughter, your best friend, your mom, or coming solo to draw closer to God, there’s a seat here for you. And yes, there are sessions en español too, because this is for our whole community.
