✝️ II Samuel 3:38 “Know ye not that a Prince and a great man has fallen in our midst today”?

Revelations 14:13 “blessed are the dead who die in the Lord”

The Texas 3rd Episcopal Jurisdiction mourns the Episcopal Transition of our beloved Prince and Apostolic Father; the former Prelate to the 11th Apostolic Region and General Board Member of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We not only celebrate an apostolic father, we celebrate a great leader who was intentional about pouring into other leaders in a deliberate effort to advance the kingdom. He recognized and appreciated diversity; he gave space and place for the gifts and callings of others. A true spiritual father.
A gifted preacher, psalmist and musician. We celebrate his ministry.

I personally have a tremendous level of respect, gratitude and appreciation for Apostle Herbert A. Edwards🙌 Had it not been for him taking a chance on me when I was a young leader I would not be where I am today. I was privileged to serve as his Special Administrative Asst. and personal adjutant for over 14 years.

The Lord saw fit to remove him from his suffering, the Lord has rewarded this faithful servant with eternal peace and rest. While we will miss his presence we will forever cherish his memory as we attempt to emulate his kind spirit and bear up the Apostolic mantle that he has left behind.

Lastly, we ask all international leaders throughout the COOLJC to join the celebration and to govern yourselves accordingly to the Apostolic Edict that is attached. We look to see you at Refuge Temple, South Carolina Southern Regional Headquarters. Bishop Sylvester K. Reid will be the host Pastor.

Sleep on Apostle Edwards, take your rest. You’ve fought a mighty good fight, finished your course, and kept the faith”.
We look to see again in that great coronation in the mid-air when Christ shall come again.,,, What a glorious day that’s gonna be…

✝️ We are celebrating the life, love and legacy of the late Mother Ruby L. Chandler🙌🙌🙌 (85 yrs.)

The fascinating part of it is, she’s not “late” she’s early! 🙌 The Bible says”for the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we who are alive and remain shall be caught together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the lord; wherefore comfort one another with these words”

Revelations 14:13
“Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, from henceforth, yea saith the spirit, they rest from their labors and their works do follow them”

Ms. Ruby (as we affectionately called her) was one of the quiet trailblazing pioneers of the Apostolic movement here in the great state of Texas. She served and supported all the diocese in Texas, she served in many capacities at the local and state levels. We honor her faithful service and her life, which she devoted unto the Lord.

One month ago on August 1st we gave her a celebration that she could see, hear and enjoy. She was thrilled. I’m grateful her pastor (Bishop E. Lee Jr) saw fit to give her this moment and I’m really grateful that he ask me to serve as the keynote speaker. It was a tremendous blessing and pleasure to be apart of that celebration. Today September 1st, one month later we celebrate Ms. Ruby once more as we send her off to glory to be with the Lord. Sleep on Ms. Ruby, take your rest, you’ve served us well down through the years. 🙌 We honor you for a job well done🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 To Bro. Jr. and Bro. Raymond along with the entire family you will remain in our thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏼

✝️ The Divine Celebration of Marriage!
Matthew 19:6 - “Celebrating What God Has Joined Together” We celebrate His Grace, Mercy and Favor! Proverbs 18:22 “whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtaineth favor from the lord”🙌🙌

32 Years ago today we began this journey together(August 20th 1994).
I found a wife, I found Gods favor all in my father-in-laws church that was jammed-packed with guest (standing room only) God joined us together in Holy Matrimony (by way of our pastor) and the rest is history! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Our journey together has taken us many places but regardless of the terrain that life and marriage has taken us, we’ve always landed on our feet “together”
🙌🙌

Gods grace, mercy and favor has held us close to Him and to each other all these years. God ordained Marriage as the strongest bond in all human relationships and ordained it to be the most permanent covenant of all humanity. (Until death do you part).

The scriptures declare that a man leaves (abandons) his mother and father and cleaves (becomes glued and/or permanently attached) to his wife). This contract of divine covenant allows them to become “one flesh”. Hallelujah!!🙌

Our lives have been truly blessed by the Lord; through the better and the worse, in sickness and in health, for the richer and for the poorer. We are grateful to the Lord 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 We are grateful for a mind to wanna stay together in times like these. Marriage is a precious thing and it requires “work”, it commands respect and a whole lot of communication. Unfortunately many in this post-modern society fail to understand this concept.

Marriage means “we” not just you Casanova!! lol…self-centered narcissism has no place in marriage; you’re now a team working together. Marriage will be exactly what you make it.

Well, beloved, Lady B. and I are going off the grid for the weekend, so please, leave us alone!! 😂😂😂 we won’t be attending any zoom calls, conference calls, distress calls, death calls, etc. etc. etc. (Not even our children will know our where abouts!!) so don’t ask! 😂😂😂

We’ll be back in circulation next week.
32 years is along time; we truly honor the Lord for “His Love” keeping us together all these years. It really has been an honored privilege and pleasure taking care of one another, celebrating one another and enjoying our lives together all these years. 🙌🙌🙌

She went home to be with the Lord
January 3, 2011 after a lengthy illness and a major surgery. Our congregation mourned her departure with honor.
We draped her seat for 30 days in honor of her memory. Her labor in the Lord was not in vain. She sacrificed her time, talents and treasures to advance the kingdom. (Not because I was her oldest son and bishop) but because she loved the Lord.

Rest well mom, rest well, until we meet again in the great coronation 🙌🙌

Bishop Love served as a faithful associate staff member of the clergy
after he retired from Pastoral Ministry.
He was a tremendous blessing to our ministry and kingdom work. I will always be grateful for Bishop Earl L. Love.
