This past Sunday we began a new series for the summer,
Never Too Young
You are NEVER TOO YOUNG to change the world for God.
All throughout the Bible we find incredible stories of those who may have been young, but they trusted God to use them to do BIG things for Him! In this series, we are going to learn from some of those incredible kids of the Bible! They didn’t wait until they were adults to change the world! They knew that you are NEVER TOO YOUNG to rock the world for God!
Your kids will learn from Bible Heroes like David, Esther, and Timothy as well as lesser known characters such as Joash, Naaman’s servant girl, and the boy with the five loaves and two fishes. In each of these young heroes, your kids will see that you are NEVER TOO YOUNG to follow God’s plan and change the world!
We pray that this series will help your kids always remember that they don’t have to “grow up” in order to make a difference!
Our power verse for the week is 1 Timothy 4:12,
Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers.
Children were challenged to memorize the power verse by our next Kids church gathering on Sunday, July 13th, to win a prize!
We have also attached a copy of the family devotion for the week since we didn't get those passed out to the children when they were checked out.
Just a reminder that this coming weekend will be our Family Worship Sunday at Southside Church and we cannot wait to worship in the Main sanctuary altogether!
