As we continue highlighting the churches and ministries God is bringing into the Daily Bread network, we shift our focus to the Houston area where we’re excited to introduce you to another one of our newest Ministry Partners.

One of our Ministry Partners shared this Story of Hope with us.

"Our Ministry is in a community where we have the opportunity to serve a lot of single parent households. As we minister to single parents, we regularly hear stories of how people have jobs, but they just can’t make ends meet financially. The food we receive from Daily Bread helped us serve a single mom named Nora, who recently came to us to share how she no longer needed our assistance because she had gotten a better paying job. She could now afford to support her family. Nora shared how much she appreciated the help we gave her in her time of greatest need, and now she is a regular who serves on our food pantry team. Nora believes that her story can bring hope to other single moms like her, and we couldn’t agree more."

Sometimes people come to a food pantry because they’re simply going through a difficult season. Maybe they’ve had unexpected expenses, lost their job, or are facing circumstances they never anticipated. Whatever the reason, we’re thankful to come alongside our Ministry Partners as they care for their communities.
In moments like these, providing food is about more than meeting a physical need. It’s an opportunity to show the love of Christ.
