Regeneration Ministries

Regeneration Ministries Our Worship Service is the first priority at Regeneration Ministries and we encourage everyone to participate in our praise and worship.

We are a faith base ministry located at San Antonio established to practice the faith without undue following of traditions and other methods that has been a basis of division among Christians. We pray for any that desire healing, salvation, and the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

WORD OF THE DAY:

Let me tell you that there are many things that contribute to our fears in our Christian walk. And I remember reading where David was being pursued by King Saul and he cried out to God for His protection.

And in Psalm 27:4 he said “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life…” What the Psalmist is saying is that he will draw closer to the Lord because in the day of trouble, the Lord will keep him safe. But the important question is not “How big is the problem” or “How big I am” but “How big is my God?”

WORD OF THE DAY:

When your life comes crashing down and things go sideways, you have no guarantee that things are going to get any better. There’s no proof that everything will be alright. But having faith means believing in deliverance before you have any proof that it is coming.

Listen to what Matthew 9:27-30 (NKJV) says “When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us! And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”

Let me tell you that these blind men had no assurance that Jesus could heal them. They had no evidence that He could restore their sight. But at best, they had heard rumors of His powers. And yet they believed with all of their hearts that Jesus was capable of healing them, and their faith was rewarded.

You see, faith in the Lord is believing in everything that He can do and on everything that He promises, even though you have no evidence of any of it. So, keep up your faith and don’t let go or doubt.

WORD FOR THE DAY:
What is faith? Is faith real? How can we live a life of faith and encouragement that brings hope to others? Let me start by saying that your faith is so powerful that it can move the mountain where your doubts can create them. Faith is about believing even though you do not know what will happen and when, but you believe that it will happen. And having faith does not mean that things will get easier but it will make everything possible for you.

Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

WORD FOR THE DAY:

It has been a while since I posted anything. But today I want to encourage you. Although we are living in difficult times, the Lord has everything under control and He will keep His promises to you. You see, when the time is right, the Lord will make it happen.

Isaiah 60:22 (NKJV) “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time.”

WORD FOR THE DAY:

Well Christmas is over and Jesus is still ignored by most of the world today. I think that much of the ignoring is to disapprove of Jesus. But it really does not matters how much Jesus is ignored because He is still the reason for Christmas, and ignoring Him will not remove Him at all.

Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV) “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Let me tell you that what Jesus was yesterday, He is today. And what He is today, He will be tomorrow. And what He is tomorrow, He will be forever. Listen, Jesus never changes He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. AMEN.

WORD FOR THE DAY:

Christmas is right around the corner and a thought came into mind. And the thought that I had was, "What would you do to prepare for Christmas?"

You see, when we truly prepare for Christmas, I truly believe that the Lord wants us to prepare for Christmas by first cleaning out our hearts.

Matthew 5:8 (NKJV) "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God."

So, why don't we do it and look into our hearts and ask for a cleansing in order to truly celebrate Christmas. I hope and pray that we will see you tomorrow evening at 6:00 pm for a short Christmas Eve service.

WORD FOR THE DAY:

In the gospel of John Chapter 21 we find where Jesus three times asked Peter “Do you love me?” When you really stop to think about this, I believe that Jesus is asking you right now the same question, “Do you really love the Me?”

This is a good question because many times when our lifestyle or our actions or our thinking is being questioned, we always respond by saying, “I know I am not living the way that I should, but I still love Jesus.”

Let me tell you that people may very well justify their behavior in this way, but what does the Word of God say about living a different way of life than what the Lord commands us in the Bible? Is it really possible to still love God and do whatever you want, off course not? But there are still people that call themselves Christians who are still living in sin and when they do than they become cold and indifference towards the Lord.

My prayer is that you will sit still and listen to the small soft voice of God calling you and saying to you “Do you really Love Me.” I hope and pray that your response will be “Yes Lord, I do love you” and start your relationship right with God. Amen.

John 21:17 (NKJV) “He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. “

WORD FOR THE DAY:

Imagine for a moment that you are with some one whom you cared about and you tell them that you love them. And when you say these words that person just looks at you and says but “Do you really love me.” I want you to think about how this would make you feel?

How would this apply to your relationship with God? You see, there are many that will throw these three simple words around and that is “I love God.” And they use these words without really meaning it or understanding it but I can tell you that the Lord is not fooled.

You see, the Lord is the discerner and true judge of one’s heart because love is usually followed by actions and it is always followed by a change in emotions and beliefs. What I am trying to say is that one cannot “love Jesus” and do whatever they want because it is not possible at all.

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (NKJV) “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”

1 John 4:8 (NKJV) “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”

WORD FOR THE DAY:

How many of you know that we all go through and encounter many challenges in life. So, what does it mean to taste and see that the Lord is good? Well, first of all when we take refuge in the Lord this indicates that we trust Him whether our situation or circumstances are good or bad.

And sometimes when we are leaning on God during those hard situations this is when we truly taste and see the Lord’s goodness the most. So, through the passage of time, David is challenging everyone of us today to TRUST and TRY GOD?

Psalm 34:8 (NKJV) “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”

WORD FOR THE DAY:

Let me just ask but have there been times when you really messed things up in your life or maybe done things or said things that were really bad. And when those things happened did it seem like there is no way that God could ever forgive you or love you again. Have you ever felt like that at one time or another.

If you have felt like this than let me remind you of what Romans 8:39 says about this. Romans Chapter 8 reminds us that there is NOTHING that we can do that would separate us from His love.

Listen, just when you think that you have completely messed up, God will continue to pursue you in His infinite love for you. As a matter of fact, our relationship with the Lord is not about how much we love Him but how on much He loves us and how He continues to seek us.

1 John 4:10 (NKJV) “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

WORD FOR THE DAY:

Fear is one of the enemy’s most popular weapons that he uses against us. Worry, anxiety and fear can overwhelm us with a thick shadow of darkness controlling our every move and decision. With the crazy things going around today like the virus pandemic, we usually begin to fear for our safety.

We need to read the Words of Life and of truth and soaking them in, over and over and pray. I firmly believe that God’s words are life and soothing to our soul and calming to our spirits. Let me tell you that it is not always easy and it often comes down to a choice.

Choosing not to allow fear and anxiety to control your life,
Choosing to guard your heart,
Choosing to focus your mind on what is true in the midst of uncertain times.

I know that we might still feel afraid, but we can believe that God is with us. We may not be in control, but we can trust the One who is in control. We may not know the future, but we can know the God who does know the future.

Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV) “Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
