After being inactive for the past few years, our Rainbow Inclusion Committee is reforming. Join us for a planning/organizing meeting. As part of being a Welcoming Congregation, the Rainbow Inclusion Committee works to welcome and celebrate LGBTQ+ individuals and to create spaces that honor every part of our identities, backgrounds, and experiences.

What is a Gender Welcoming Ritual? Many spiritual traditions recognize that gender is often socially constructed and does not always fit the individual. Celestial Celebrations Circle wants to respect that understanding and has offered a popular Gender Welcoming ritual for the last two years .

Hosted by George Perez; with performances by Drag Queen Jazmine Diamond Fillups, Latinx Drag King troupe Sir Gio, and Gacho Marx of Los MENtirosos; poetry readings by LGBTQIA+ poets Lace Garcia and Saúl Hernández; and a printmaking activity with artist Ernesto Olivo. The evening’s event will integrate sustainability themes from the exhibition Resilient and Responsive: Artists and the Environment. FREE AND OPEN TO ALL!
