We all have struggles in this life. Addiction, failure, mistakes, wrong choices, lonliness, self-esteem and the list goes on and on. But, there is POWER in the name of Jesus. We can break free, togethe, once and for all, we can break these chains of bo***ge and rise from the ashes. I hope you are blessed by this song.

So many of us would love to change the world but never seem to think that maybe we should first start with ourselves. One person can make a big difference in your life and that person is you. Don't wait for others to try and change you or even for Jesus to push you to the next level. You decide you take the responsibility and change the world one person at a time. Beginning with yourself.

Letter From Hell . . .

My Friend,
I stand in Judgment now,
And feel that you’re to blame somehow.
Never did you point the way.
You knew the Lord in truth and glory,
But never did you tell the story.
My knowledge then was very dim;
You could have led me safe to Him.
Though we lived together on the earth,
You never told me of the second birth,
And now I stand this day condemned,
Because you failed to mention Him.
You taught me many things, that’s true.
I called you “friend” and trusted you,
But I learn now that it’s too late,
You could have kept me from this fate.
We walked by day and talked by night,
And yet you showed me not the Light.
You let me live, and love, and die,
You knew I’d never live on high.
Yes, I called you “friend” in life,
And trusted you through joy and strife.
And yet on coming to the end,
I cannot, now, call you “My Friend."

Let none of us ever pass on the chance to help a friend be able to find Jesus because of shame or shyness. Otherwise, what kind of friend does that really make us?

It is never easy to be challenged. Abraham Lincoln once attended a church at which, when over, was asked by the Pastor "Mr. President did you enjoy the service"? To which Mr. Lincoln answered "yes, but I am still waiting for the challenge". I believe God is constantly calling and encouraging all of us to move forward in our spiritual lives. As it says in the book of Job, "I have heard of you with my ears but now I have seen you with my eyes". I know we have all met God but do we really know Him? I have met a lot of people but couldn't pick them out from a crowd. I want to see with my own spiritual eyes the God I have heard so much about. Will you join us?

To all my Bros and Sisters of Thursday's small group we will be talking about the life of Job. So if you would bring your questions and opinions of the life of our brother Job. God Bless and see you there!

I am so excited and encouraged to be going to "the next level" with you all. I sense we are all ready for the next step no matter what level each of us may be on. Don't fear what is to come, failure can only occur if we fall and stay down. I am ready for the challenges and look forward to facing them by your side.
