Lesson 1
Father, we come to you with hearts willing to learn. We thank you for a PERFECT BOOK that you have given us to help us understand all that you would have us to know. Lord, we get so busy in the life we live, we hear so much about self-empowerment, 'I can do it myself' promotions - and we know Father as your children You want us to depend on you. O Lord, help our unbelief, enlarge our FAITH. In Jesus name, Amen

INTRODUCTION: True Bible faith is not an emotional "hope-so"; it is real conviction based on the Word of God (Rom. 10:17). The word substance means "assurance" and the word evidence means "proof'. The writer of Hebrews gives us a definite meaning of what faith is: Hebrew 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Through this study you will learn the true and real meaning of faith in God. You will be able to determine where your faith lies. You will ask yourself if you have TRUE BIBLICAL faith in God, or if you are riding on the misconstrued concept of "faith in faith" that is being taught which is based on an emotional basis.
I. FAITH THAT IS MATCHLESS
in Eph. 4:5 The apostle Paul writes: One Lord, one faith, one baptism. True faith in God as we can see in these few short words is MATCHLESS to anything else.
Take a look at the following Scriptures (King James Version), EACH scripture gives an example of how faith works in the life of Believers. Look up each scripture and list what role MATCHLESS faith plays in our lives.
1. It_________ us. John 3:16, 36; 5:24; Rom. 5:1
2. It_________ us. Acts 15:9, 26:18
3. It_________ us. Ephesians 6:16
Further questions:
