There are places in the world that people write off.
In the Dominican Republic, there is a neighborhood in Pantoja, just outside of Santo Domingo, that locals call “El C**o de Pantoja.” The name reflects what many believe about the area: that nothing good ever comes from there.
But God is telling a different story.
In the middle of one of the most impoverished communities in the country, the Lord is moving powerfully through Iglesia Lugar de Sanidad in Santo Domingo, DR.
This past weekend was no different.
• A Sunday service filled with worship, faith, and hunger for the presence of God.
• Women gathering together, encouraging one another, and growing in Christ.
• Couples coming together to strengthen their marriages and build families on the foundation of Jesus.
What the world calls forgotten, God calls fertile ground.
Lives are being changed.
Families are being restored.
Hope is rising where people once believed nothing good could grow.
Please continue praying for Iglesia Lugar de Sanidad, for the leaders serving there, and for the community of Pantoja. God is doing something beautiful in a place many had given up on.
And this video is just a glimpse of what He is doing.
