Our Lady of Sorrows, San Antonio Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, San Antonio, TX On Sept. 15, 2015, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in San Antonio celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Originally founded as a mission church to San Fernando Cathedral, it was then operated by the Dominican Fathers from Mexico City. Later it became a mission church to Our Lady of Grace Parish (on McCullough Ave.) and in 1977, OLS became an independent parish. Since 1986 it has also served as the Polish Mission for San Antonio. The parish retains both its Mexican mission heritage as well as the influences of the Polish mission.
