Bishop Thomas J. Flanagan Knights of Columbus Council 11596 - St. Brigid The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Council 11596 is associated with St. Brigid's in San Antonio, TX.

The Knights of Columbus is a National Catholic Fraternal Organization, and Bishop Thomas J. Flanagan Knights of Columbus Council 11596 - St. Brigid is dedicated to providing family and service activities that benefit the community of St. Brigid Parish. It holds a monthly taco sale (currently on hold due to COVID restrictions), Chicken BBQ plate sales, Fish Frys, Smoked Turkey sales, etc., to raise funds for college scholarships for the youth of our parish. In addition, the council works jointly with the youth and other ministry groups on various projects to benefit the parish community. They also work on archdiocesan and national activities and charities as well, such as the “Tootsie Roll Drive” (for the deaf ministry), the Free Throw Competition for youth, and Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest, and many more. Bishop Thomas J. Brigid meet for the monthly general meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm (meeting location TBD each month).

Prayers for SK Ray Baeza and his family and friends. SK Ray Baeza, a member of KofC Bishop Thomas J Flanagan Council 11596 - St. Brigid, and Assembly 2628, and a Knight since 1996, also passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Both were important members of St. Brigid Catholic Church - San Antonio, Texas and important members of this council and will be greatly missed.

Please come out tonight (5pm - 7pm), and every Friday during Lent (except Good Friday) and buy a Fish plate, or more than one, from your Knights at Bishop Thomas J. Flanagan Knights of Columbus Council 11596 - St. Brigid.

Plates are $12 and we take Cash, Credit/Debit Card (and Apple/Google Pay), and Check.

Proceeds from this, and other KofC Fundraisers, goes towards various charitable needs across our parish, our city, state, and country that our KofC council supports. Thanks!
