Our Sister in Christ - Esperanza Guajardo Obituary
Esperanza M. Guajardo went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the age of 77. She was born on September 29, 1945, in Harlingen, Texas.
Esperanza was a teacher for thirty years and even after retirement she continued teaching others while serving the Presbyterian Church USA in various committees and as a stalwart supporter of Presbyterian Women all over the world.
Esperanza is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Guajardo and her parents Abel and Angelica Maldonado. She is survived by her loving daughters Andrea (Ramon) Salinas and Elizabeth Guajardo; her grandsons Joshua Villagran and Isaac Alonso and cherished great-grandsons Abel Araiza and Jayson Villagran. Esperanza is also survived by six sisters and two brothers.
Esperanza will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.

Please keep Melinda Salazar and her family in your prayers. Melinda's son, Tobie was in an auto accident this morning. Tobbie is being evaluated at the E.R. and is in stable condition.

We continue to pray for Yolanda Jimenez. She is in a rehabilitation facility for at least another week. Yolanda is coming along slowly.
She has asked for continued prayers for healing.

We received a special prayer request from Yolanda Jimenez today. She is asking for prayers as her surgery was postponed from tomorrow to a less invasive procedure next week on Thursday at 6am. God be with her and ease her worries. We send our love and prayers.
