This Labor Day, we honor the dignity of work and the men and women whose labor provides for their families and strengthens our communities.

As Knights, we recognize that work is not only a means of livelihood, but also a way to share in God’s creative plan. Let us pray for all workers, especially those who struggle with unemployment, unsafe conditions, or unjust wages.

May St. Joseph the Worker inspire us to approach our work with faith, integrity, and dedication. 🙏

Today, May 21, we honor 25 heroic Mexican martyrs — among them, six courageous priests who were members of the Knights of Columbus.

In his homily during the canonization of these holy witnesses of the faith, Pope St. John Paul II said: “They did not stop courageously exercising their ministry when religious persecution intensified in the beloved land of Mexico, unleashing hatred of the Catholic religion. They all freely and calmly accepted martyrdom as a witness to their faith, explicitly forgiving their persecutors.”

Their legacy of courage and conviction continues to inspire us today. Read more at kofc.org/mexicanmartyrs
