Is Your Relationship With God Trending?

Are you afraid to post things about God and Jesus on Ig, Facebook, or even TikTok because of the reactions you may receive from other people?

Do you post things about Jesus to throw shade at other people who may be on your bad side or is it out of love?

We should Trending Jesus for a good cause, to enlighten others , to make the disciples , to spread love and to be a light of hope!

Do not be afraid of getting hate from other people, weary, or be canceled out from society because you trending Jesus by posting something.

We have some challenges within the group to get God Trending. We’ll update you all on it soon!

Young Fire Small Group was very informative with a great lesson about Cancel Culture lastnight! Then we capped it off with some fun and games! Who says adults can’t play hide-n-seek anymore! 🤣

Jesus Is The King Of Clapbacks! He displayed this in John 8:1-11
“…let any who is without sin, cast the first stone…”
The Pharisees brought the woman who committed adultery to Jesus and told him that the Law of Moses commmandd them to stone her. They then asked Jesus, “ What do you say?” A Question that was used to Trap Jesus.

Young Fire was on FIRE today learning about "3 Ways To Communicate With God!"

1. Talking to God through Prayer (A.C.T.S.)
A- Adoration
Adoration sets our hearts right, giving praise to God for who
he is.
C- Confession
Confession expresses what Christ accomplished. Through
salvation, our confessed sins are forgiven (1 John 1:9). “If we
confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our
sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
T- Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving moves our hearts toward a state of gratefulness
(As we grow with Christ even our trials begin to make it onto to
this list).
S- Supplication
Supplication represents our prayer requests for help, healing,
blessing, and beyond.

2. Talking to God through Journaling
-Journaling will help eliminate distractions and will help you
pour out your heart to God.

3. Talking to God in Spontaneous Prayer
-This serves as a foundational piece of prayer.
“We need spontaneous prayer because we are dependent every moment on the Lord, and we are together dependent on him. Praying about something right in the moment reminds us of that very dependence.” Scripture encourages us to “pray about everything” (Philippians 4:6-7).
