We are all at different points on our faith journeys, but we rejoice knowing that we are not alone. God has given us the gift of our sisters and brothers in Christ to journey with us through all of life's joys, challenges, pains, and triumphs.

Today we celebrate our siblings in Christ and Creation who have have wandered through wildernesses to find their true selves. We are so grateful for the gifts of LGBTQIA+ people in all aspects of the church, from those who are out and those who make the wilderness of the closet their home. We long for a day when all of God's people feel safe to display their facet of God's face to the world.

What an honor it was to be a servant leader today! I took part in an ecumenical Habitat build. There were 3 ELCA congregations represented and at least one Baptist congregation. Everyone pulled together to complete many acts of love for one of our neighbors, who just so happens to be a former student of a Hope LC disciple. Glory to God in the highest!!
