The Vessel Church We long to lead others to center their lives on the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Family Sunday was a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness.
We heard testimonies of what happens when people step out in faith and trust God beyond their comfort zones. We worshiped together across generations, united in one purpose, and prayed that the name of Jesus would be made great in our city and across the globe—for His glory alone.

If you missed it, don’t miss the next one! Mark your calendars now for August 30th and plan to be there.

Reflecting on Christ's willingness to leave His comfort zone, taking the form of a servant and obedience unto death. His love propelled Him to enter our story, giving His all. Each communion, we celebrate His sacrifice and are called to mirror it, stepping out of our own comfort zones.

The soil in the Scottish Highlands is hard.
Years of gospel decline, spiritual apathy, and lost biblical knowledge have made ministry there difficult ground to till.

But hard soil does not mean hopeless soil.

God is still raising up faithful men and women — churches like and others across the Highlands — who are answering the call to faithfully sow the Gospel, love their communities, and labor for revival.

And we believe what seems barren today can once again become fruitful ground for Gospel renewal.

Pray for the Highlands. Pray for endurance. Pray for hearts to be awakened to Jesus.

There was a time when Scotland was known for sending missionaries, pastors, and Gospel movement makers to the nations. Churches were full. The name of Jesus was known.

Today, much of Scotland has drifted into spiritual darkness and gospel indifference. In some areas of the Highlands, less than 1% of people actively follow Jesus. Entire generations are growing up with little to no understanding of the Gospel.

But God is not finished.

We are thankful for faithful church planters and partners who continue to show up, love people well, and boldly proclaim the hope of Christ in places that many now consider unreached.

The Gospel is still the power of God unto salvation — in Scotland just like anywhere else. Pray for revival. Pray for laborers. Pray for hearts to come alive to Jesus again.

Different places. Different ministry philosophies. Different contexts.
But the same God is at work drawing people to Himself.

Our global partners remind us of something we can never forget:
We are not the ones changing hearts. God is.

We are simply vessels — available, obedient, and willing to go wherever He sends.
To show up. To serve. To speak the Gospel.
And trust Him to do what only He can do.
The harvest still belongs to the Lord.
And He is still winning souls.

Amen.

What Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz could never have imagined became the tapestry of God's plan. Their story, unfolding from the time of the Judges to the lineage of King David, points to an even greater redemption through Jesus Christ's sacrifice. This profound act of love redeems the whole earth and gathers a bride from every nation.

Different context. Different challenges. Same Gospel.
Because no matter where you go, people still need Jesus.

We sat down with our global church partners and heard directly from them of the complexities, challenges, and joys that is ministry in their context. You can hear the entire conversation on our YouTube channel. Link in bio.

Also, follow to see how they’re making much of Jesus in their corner of the world!
