DON'T ASK FOR FIRE… UNLESS YOU'RE READY TO BURN

Don’t ask for a heart of fire
if you still crave comfort more than Christ,
if your prayers are polished
but your altar’s cold.

Don’t whisper, “Send the flame,”
while hiding your idols
in the dark.
Fire doesn’t flatter—
it exposes, consumes, refines.

He is not the God of
flickering candles.
He is the God of holy wildfire.
He scorches lukewarm living
and wrecks half-hearted religion.

A heart of fire will ruin
your love for the world.
It will cost you your image,
your plans, your pride.
But it will give you Him.

So ask…
but only if you’re ready to
be set ablaze,
to live undone,
to carry the burn of heaven
in a world that prefers ashes.

Lord, don’t just touch us.
Torch us.
Not with hype—
but with holy, costly fire.
