Thomas is going to Boise, Idaho today for his 3 week mission trip! Here's what he has to say about his trip:

"I'm going be working with Waypoint Church, which is a brand-new church in a growing area near Boise, Idaho. I'll be running summer day camps at a park right next door. I'll be witnessing people from all different religious backgrounds and even people who aren't religious at all. My main job will be running the camps, getting volunteers organized, and just making sure everything's good to go for the kids. Besides the camps, I'll also be out and about in the community at coffee shops, walking around doing prayer walks, and going to local events and church services. I'll also help with setting up on Sundays and help out with media and the kids' Sunday school. One prayer request that I have is that I would be able to find out a good way to spread the gospel to the children in a way that they would be able to understand it, and that God would speak through me and give me a burden for the lost, opportunities to share the gospel, and boldness to share the gospel in those opportunities."

We're sending out our first missionary! Nathan begins serving today and will be in Arlington for seven weeks! Here's what he has to say about his trip:

"I will be working towards reach families living in apartment complexes with the gospel. We will lead bible studies and perform outreaches. The church will also provide their essentials such as clothes, food, and furniture for families struggling to support themselves. There will be times when my team and I will be working 12+ hours on some days. I ask for everyone to pray for boldness to approach people and hold up a gospel conversation, and energy to get through those rough and busy days."

Sunday Prayer Spotlight: Today we’re praying for Immanuel Baptist Church in San Angelo. Lift up Pastor Ryan Buck and the church staff as they prepare for a busy summer season. Pray for their outreach in the community as they get ready for Vacation Bible School the first week of June. Ask God to bless their efforts as they personally deliver invitations to 1,000 homes, that many would respond and hear the gospel.

Registration is now open for the ACE Conference in August. The conference is FREE, but registration is needed so we know how many to expect. Also, there is free childcare available by reservation on the registration link.

Sunday Prayer Spotlight 🙏 Today we’re praying for Community Baptist Church in Eldorado. Pray that the faithful group of believers will continue to serve the Lord. Pray that they will endure as they look to the future and renew their effort to reach the lost for Christ. May they be a positive gospel presence in their community.
