Fresh Start Ministries Women's Transitional Housing Ministry
Christian mentoring and discipleship program designed to assist hurting women that are ready for a new way of life.

We provide women from our community with safe and sober place to rediscover themselves and make life-long changes. Many of these women come to us from rehabilitation centers, from homelessness, probation and parole. Many have come from generations of abuse,

drug and alcohol use and many do not even relate to the word family. They have all come to a point of being tired of living the mess and are ready for a true life change. We accept women in need of a second chance that are truly committed to changing their lives, and give them the opportunity to train and learn what it means to live within the principles of the Word of God. We assist the women with their needs while they re-acclimate to society and learn how to live a Christian lifestyle. We utilize discipleship training and Christian mentoring to lead the women towards a self-sufficient life free from anger, addiction, fear, and self-doubt. By meeting their basic needs, providing mentors throughout the transitional stages and supporting and encouraging life changes based on Biblical principles, we can have a lasting impact on those seeking a new life in Christ. "If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?"
(James 2:15-16 NKJV)

We are so excited to kick off our Summer Raffle to help raise money for summer activities with our ladies! These women have been working incredibly hard through classes, recovery, personal growth, and Bible studies, and we would love to bless them with some fun summer outings and special memories together. 💛

🎉 Celebrating 12 Years of Ministry! 🎉

Today we pause to thank God for 12 incredible years of faith, growth, and service. What started as a step of obedience has turned into a journey filled with lives changed, prayers answered, and grace upon grace.
To every volunteer, prayer partner, board member, and financial supporter—thank you for walking with us. Most of all, we give God the glory for His faithfulness then, now, and always.
Celebrating all He has done and all He is still going to do! 🙌

So the girls and I had the blessing of celebrating Easter together. On Friday night they attended Good Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church. Then Saturday they went together to an incredible play at Word of Life Church. Sunday morning we shared a beautiful Sunrise Service-some of them experienced these moments for the very first time-and it filled my heart to watch their wonder and joy. After service we came home and enjoyed a warm, laughter-filled lunch and dinner together. It was a simple, holy weekend that reminded me how precious shared faith and family are.
