We all face seasons when life does not make sense—when suffering comes without explanation, prayers feel unanswered, the future feels unclear, or we wonder whether hope can still be real.
Beginning Sunday, September 13, join us for a new four-week sermon series:
WHEN LIFE DOESN’T MAKE SENSE... Finding God’s Presence, Guidance, and Hope in Life’s Hard Questions
Together, we will bring our honest questions to God and discover that faith is not about having every answer. It is about trusting that God is with us, God is still at work, and God’s love has the final word.
September 13 — Where Is God When It Hurts?
Why do innocent people suffer? We will explore how God meets us in pain and how the church can become a compassionate presence for those who are hurting.
September 20 — When Prayer Feels Unanswered
What do we do when we pray for healing, help, peace, or change—and the answer we hoped for does not come? We will discover how prayer sustains us, forms us, and reminds us that unanswered prayer is not proof of an absent God.
September 27 — Taking the Next Faithful Step
How do we know God’s will for our lives? We will consider how God guides us not through a hidden blueprint, but through love, wisdom, community, and the courage to take the next faithful step.
October 4 — Love Has the Final Word
We will conclude with the good news of resurrection: suffering, sin, evil, and death are real, but they do not have the final word. In Jesus Christ, God’s love, grace, and new life do.
Bring your questions. Bring your doubts. Bring the things you are carrying.
There is room for all of it here.
