🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from PaulAnn Recovery! 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to say thank you to every person who works hard, serves faithfully, provides for their family, cares for others, and gives of themselves each and every day. Whether your work is seen by many or happens quietly behind the scenes, your labor matters, and so do you.
For those in recovery, we know that some of the hardest work happens within. Choosing sobriety. Choosing healing. Choosing to get back up when life knocks you down. Choosing hope when the road feels long.
That work matters, too. ❤️
God sees every step, every struggle, every sacrifice, and every victory.
📖 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” — Colossians 3:23
Today, may we remember that our worth isn't measured by a job title, a paycheck, or how much we accomplish. Our worth comes from being created and deeply loved by God.
🙏 A Labor Day Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of work, for the strength to keep going, and for the people who faithfully serve others. Bless every worker, every family, and every person walking the road of recovery. For those who are tired, give them strength. For those who are discouraged, give them hope. For those who are struggling, remind them that they are never alone. Give us hearts willing to serve, hands willing to help, and the courage to keep moving forward one day at a time.
May our labor honor You, may our lives reflect Your love, and may we never forget that You are with us through every step of the journey.
