When is the last time you had a weakness exposed at the most inopportune time?

How did you handle it? Did you try to cover it up? Did you try to compensate for it by attempting to prove that it wasn’t a weakness but a fluke?

Did you try to dismiss it as unimportant? Did you confess the short coming and move on to continue growing?

Did you turn to God to ask for His help with overcoming your weakness?

What is the right response and how does our response apply to or impact our spiritual life?

Isaiah 16 continues with the oracle (burden) concerning Moab and tomorrow we will take time to discover how the announced burden could lead to clothing our exposed weaknesses in God’s strength.

School is back in session, routines are just about established, now it’s time to come back to Kids’ Bible Club on Wednesday nights starting September 9 from 6:00 to 7:30pm. We have pizza at 6:00pm followed by songs, Bible and games.

The San Angelo Broadway Academy is growing, and we’re looking for talented, passionate professionals to join the SABA family!

As West Texas’s largest children’s performing arts education program, we are proud to provide young performers with opportunities to learn, grow, and shine on stage in theatre, dance, and music. We’re excited to announce several opportunities for the upcoming season:

1. Part-Time Office Manager — Immediate Hire
Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–6:30 PM

2. Theatre Teachers — 2026–2027 Season

Contract positions for Fall and Spring classes. We’re seeking enthusiastic theatre educators who are passionate about working with young performers ages 3-18.

3. Stage Manager — 2026–2027 Productions
Contract opportunities are available for:

The Addams Family — November 26
How the Grinch Stole Christmas — December 26
Harry Potter — February 27
Les Misérables — May 27

****Stage management positions may be contracted on a per-production basis or for the entire season.

God is warning Judah not to join alliances with Moab because they are not in the right clothes, clothes that are covered in wrath.

God has clothes of righteousness that He has bought, paid for and provided to all who are willing to receive them.
No one has an excuse for being under dressed. It’s a choice!
