Guess what… 😁 ✨ 🥳 another new staff to announce: Raegan Swaringin!

Raegan is Redeemer’s Assistant Worship Leader. She plans worship sets, organizes the volunteer crew, and leads Redeemer in worship most Sunday mornings.☀️ Raegan and her husband Stephen, along with their 3 kids, have been attending Redeemer for a few years and lead a small group on Thursdays. Raegan is kind, calm, a strong leader, and we’re just really grateful to have her helping lead this team.

Raegan shared with us: I am just happy to be here and so honored to be brought on as a help to Redeemer. Very grateful to be a part of what God is doing in our church and in San Angelo! My hope is that the local church would be a place for all to find belonging, connection, community, and strength in their relationship with the Lord. As worship assistant, partnering with our team of volunteers has been such a joy! I am passionate about leading worship that is theologically rich and reflects the gospel. My desire is to point the church to continually look to Christ instead of self. I’m looking forward to how the Lord will use this role to reveal himself and grow me as a worship leader, a member of His body, and as a believer.

Let’s welcome Raegan! 🌺 🎤 🎼 🎸

📣 📣 Excited to share our new staff member: Gabbie Hewitt!

Gabbie is joining the staff at Redeemer as the communications resident. She will oversee many communications responsibilities (including socials!), as well as event planning, project/resource management, and most importantly will be developed as a follower of Jesus and leader in our church.

Gabbie and her husband Travis have been members with us for several years. Gabbie serves on several teams, including children’s, youth, and worship. She is gifted, passionate, bright ☀️ and so important to our church body. 🎸 🎤 🎶 📖

Gabbie shared: After working in collegiate ministry at my Alma Mater Angelo State, I’m excited to bring all that I’ve learned to help equip my local church. I’m so thankful that the Lord placed me in the family of Redeemer during some of the hardest AND best times of my life. I’m hopeful that God will use my gifts and abilities to glorify Him and exhort His Church, while also using the gifts and abilities of my pastors, elders, fellow staffers, and congregants to help me grow more and more into the image of Christ 💗🌈

Welcome, Gabbie!

The Lord has shown our church so much favor in recent months - our first weekender conference, members Mark and Michael continuing to preach for us, planning for Family Discipleship Week, Mother’s Day, baptisms, more and more faces joining the church who were once strangers to it, and the big ways He is showing up for our students.

Our Japan team is nearly fully funded (!!!!!), and our students going to camp keep gaining more and more toward their individual costs. This isn’t done without the generosity of God’s people. Thank you, sincerely, for supporting God’s work in these faces.

Jesus, hold us up. Build us.

After a one year hiatus, Family Discipleship Week is back! ☀️ 😃 👟 📖 🍦
Come and join us June 2-4 from 5:00-7:30PM for a time for our families to learn and grow spiritually together.

This event is for the entire church family—babies, big kids, parents, singles, empty nesters, and everyone in between!

Our theme this year is ‘holiness’ and all the teachings for both parents and kids will be centered on these two truths:
1. God is good in every way and right in everything he does.
2. Because God is with us, we are growing in being good and right.

Learn more and REGISTER through church center (or message us!) Be sure to order FDW shirts for the whole family! All funds raised in shirt sales go to help send our youth kids on mission in Japan + to summer camp!

“Judges convicts so that we would long for forgiveness. Ruth comforts so that we would long for the forgiver.”

That’s a wrap on Judges and Ruth. May we all receive the forgiveness granted by the only true Forgiver.

Our first ever weekender was time spent together going through the first 7 chapters of Acts. We pray you left encouraged to see your role in God’s Kingdom, that His church is still being built today, and that you have a role in all of it. Our goal as the Church is that God’s people grow in learning + love of his Word. Thankful for such dedicated time in Acts and all the fun and learning our children did as well! ☀️ 📖 ♥️

See you Sunday!

To celebrate our Savior risen, alive, at the right hand of the Father, and returning one day, with our church body and families Sunday began our day brimming with hope. A savior was needed, so a savior was sent. Thank you, Jesus, for taking it all for us.

A very special thank you to the artists who again contributed to our stations of the cross this year. The Lord has given many folks in our body special talent through art.

See you Sunday, church.
