Day 10 — Equipped for the Work of Service

Church is not meant to be a place where a few serve while everyone else watches. God equips every believer to strengthen the body of Christ.

“Lord, show me how You have equipped me to serve, and help me use what You have given me for the good of others.”

Day 9 — Devoted to the Things That Matter

“They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” — Acts 2:42

A healthy church is not built on activity alone, but on devotion to the things God has made clear in His Word.

“Lord, help us give ourselves faithfully to Your Word, prayer, fellowship, and life together as Your people.”

God has placed each of us around people who need the hope of the gospel. Our homes, workplaces, schools, and communities are part of the mission field.

The mission of the church is not simply to gather people, but to help people know, follow, and obey Jesus.

It is possible to stay busy doing good things while our love for Christ grows cold.

Busyness is not the same as fruitfulness. Lasting spiritual fruit comes from abiding in Christ and depending on Him.
