Some of the Golden Girls were out again, celebrating our Rene Peterson Midgett with wonderful food and fun at Good Winds this past week. We appreciate the yummy food and excellent service. It was a great time and we all enjoyed celebrating Rene who does so many great things for our community.

Please join us for Sunday Morning Worship at 11:00 am and Sunday School at 9:45 am. Come hear the GOOD WORD that our Pastor Susie Fitch-Slater shares.

Monday: Buy Your Own Biscuit (BYOB) at Island Convenience at 7:30 am
Monday: Golden Girls Lunch celebrating Carol Ciccone at 1 pm (please rsvp through messenger for details)
Tuesday: Bible Study with Pastor Susie at 10:00 am as she leads us through The 52-Week Journey Into God's Heart
Tuesday: Prayer emersion at Clarks at 7 pm
Wednesday: Bible Study at 7 pm

Happy Tuesday!!! We had to share some photos of our church's event to support Little Pink Houses of Hope earlier this month. This was our 2nd year and opportunity to serve these fine folks.

First of all, we want to thank Chief Mike for allowing us to use the Salvo Firehall to have a luncheon for the folks from Little Pink Houses of Hope. We so appreciate Lisa's Pizzeria for donating their yummy pizzas. We appreciate all the hands that prepared the wonderful sandwiches from Waves Market & Deli and an incredible amount of donated bottled water. Thanks to Polly Moffatt for spearheading this. Our Golden Girls provided lots and lots of cupcakes, lemonade and tea for our guests. It was a wonderful heartwarming time. It was so nice to be in the presence of these breast cancer survivors, who are brave fighters, and their supportive families.
