He was a shepherd before he was a king.

Before David stood before Goliath, he spent years walking by faith when nobody was watching. Before the victories, before the throne, before the songs, there was simple obedience to God.

This Sunday, we begin a brand-new sermon series through the life of David.

Over the next several weeks, we'll explore what it looks like to have faith when you're overlooked, faith when you're facing giants, faith in seasons of suffering, faith in friendship, faith after failure, and faith that leads to wholehearted worship.

David wasn't perfect. He experienced incredible victories and devastating failures. Yet through it all, he learned to trust the Lord.

Join us as we discover what it means to have a faith like David.

We’re thankful to see continued progress on our new building! Every step forward is another reminder of God’s faithfulness and the exciting opportunities ahead for ministry, discipleship, and community impact.

Please note that our downstairs entrances will be closed tonight. Due to some of the construction process and the rain, those areas are extremely muddy.

Everyone will need to enter through the upstairs lobby/sanctuary entrance instead.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we continue to see progress on the new building!

⏰ 3:00 PM – Until (Food starts at 5:00 PM)

Join us for an afternoon of great food, fellowship, and outdoor fun!

🍔 Food & Drink
This is a potluck-style event, so bring your favorite dish! Grills will be hot—feel free to bring meat (pre-marinated if you’re feeling fancy). We’ll have burgers, hotdogs, chips, baked beans, ice cream, and drinks (water, sweet tea, and Coke products).

🎣 Activities
• Fishing (bring your own tackle)
• Kayaking (kayaks provided, but bring yours if you have one)
• Yard games (corn hole, can jam, croquet, etc.)
• Zip line
• Hanging out and having a good time

🪑 What to Bring
• Lawn chair
• Extra clothes (especially if you’re near the water)
• Life jackets (if you have extras)
• A friend!

Please parallel park on the right side of the drive when you arrive.
