Someone posed the question, “Could you forgive your Judas?”

My answer is yes.

Forgiveness does not excuse the betrayal, erase the pain, or automatically restore trust. It means releasing the person…and the offense..into God’s hands.

To receive healing and walk in complete freedom, we must be willing to forgive, even when an apology never comes. Forgiveness is not always for the one who hurt you; sometimes it is the key that unlocks your own prison.

I refuse to remain bound to what betrayed me. I choose forgiveness. I choose healing. I choose freedom.
