This Saturday, the National Park Service will provide FREE ADMISSION to all national parks for (NPLD) —the nation's biggest annual celebration of the great outdoors. Established by the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) in 1994, NPLD encourages environmental stewardship and the use of public lands for education, recreation, inspiration and general health and wellness. Limited in-town shuttle service will be available in Springdale beginning tomorrow/Thursday and continuing through Sunday, July 5. The St. George Shuttle-logoed bus will stop at the nine Springdale stops every half hour (or more frequently), taking visitors throughout the town and to the Zion National Park pedestrian entrance in Zion Canyon Village. The shuttle is free and is observing CDC guidelines for COVID-19. This shuttle is independent of the Zion Canyon Shuttle. We are excited to welcome our guests who are planning to visit Zion National Park this summer! We want to ensure that you are informed of some good news and changes that will be taking place soon so that you can have the best possible experience during your time spent with us!

Beginning July 1, 2020, the shuttle system will resume at Zion National Park for access to the trails along the Scenic Drive! The shuttle operations are only available within the Park and, at this time, the town of Springdale shuttles will not be running.

A number of modifications have been made to the shuttle system for this year in order to help best serve those visiting the Park and to provide a safe system for access.
Shuttle buses have been retrofitted to limit capacity and to allow for social distancing. Because of this, a ticket will be required for anyone riding the shuttle buses. These tickets must be purchased in advance on Recreation.gov. They are $1/ticket and they will be available in 1-hour increments for departure "up canyon" from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center.

A limited number of tickets will be available for the month of July beginning at 9:00 AM June 30th. Visitors can also acquire tickets before their planned trip, after 9:00 AM the day prior to when they would like to visit the Park.

In addition to the resumption of the shuttle service, National Park entry fees will also be required for access to Zion for any visitors, whether or not they are using the shuttle system.
