Families are still trying to make ends meet and our senior citizens face food insecurity every day. Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church is holding another community-wide “Drive-Thru” Food Drive to assist East Idaho Community Action Partnership, our local food bank. Last November’s food drive was a rousing success thanks to your generosity!
On Saturday, May 22, from 9 am to 2 pm, please bring your non-perishable food items to the church for drop-off. We will assure a safe, clean environment for everyone. Our volunteers will be safely masked and maintain social distance to keep you and themselves safe. We’ll offer to unload your trunk or you can even hand the donation out of your car! We ask that you adhere to the local Health Department guidelines.
Please know that all of Lemhi County thanks you for your continued support!

Food Banks are feeding nearly 60% more people during the COVID pandemic than they were last year. In addition, manufacturers and grocery stores are unable to provide the same level of relief as in previous years. Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church is holding a Community-Wide “Drive-By” Food Drive to assist East Idaho Community Action Partnership, our local food bank.

On Saturday, November 21, from 10 am to 1 pm, please bring your non-perishable food items to the church for drop-off. We will assure a safe clean environment for everyone. Our volunteers will be safely masked and maintain social distance to keep you and themselves safe. You can even hand the donation out the window of your car! We ask that you adhere to the local Health Department guidelines.

No one ever wants to think of people in our community being hungry but especially so during the holidays. Please know that all of Lemhi County thanks you for your support!

As a result of a sustained increase in active cases of COVID-19 in Lemhi County over the past nine days, at its meeting this morning, Eastern Idaho Public Health’s (EIPH) Board of Health passed an Order of Restriction for Lemhi County that requires the use of face covering by individuals when in public places when physical distancing cannot be maintained as well as limits the size of gatherings/events (both public and private) based on the available space at the venue to allow for physical distancing.
