IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE SALVATION ARMY:

As a reminder, if you apply online and do not upload the documents needed, your application will not be approved.

We have several applications and they are just sitting there because the application was not completed.

Completed means, application of personal information, Angel information for children, budget form, signature of consent, required documents uploaded. Please complete these items for assistance.

As a reminder, a picture of your food stamp card is not sufficient, we need the letter of benefits (you can obtain this letter from your case worker if you do not have this)

If you are unable to upload your documents you can bring them by the in person applications scheduled day and times. Ask for Captain Teresa Bush. But you need to have all documents in hand before arriving.

All online applications not completed will be denied and deleted on October 13th at 12pm.

Please volunteer with us to make the holidays special this year for families in need! Last year, we were able to provide 997 children with toys, food and clothing during the holidays.

Please consider helping us with our application in-take process at the J.F. Hurley YMCA on the following dates:

• Friday, October 28: 9:00am–5:30pm
• Saturday, October 29: 9:00am–2pm
• Saturday, November 5: 9:00am–2pm

If you are not able to volunteer the whole day, please select one or more of the shifts below:

• Friday, October 28: 9-12:30pm & 1-5:30pm (lunch provided)
• Saturday, October 29: 9-11:30am & 11:30-2pm
