Compassionate One, with humble hearts, we ask for strength, wisdom and compassion to care for all your children. Guide us as we help our neighbors in need so that all can “abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places” (Isaiah 32:18).

Faith Over Fear — He Is With You
Fear came knocking at my door
in the middle of the night,

dressed in all the what-ifs,
wearing shadows dressed as light.

It whispered in the quiet,
it shouted in the crowd,
it sat beside me in the waiting room
and wrapped around me like a shroud.

I know that voice.
I’ve heard it all my life.
It speaks the language of uncertainty,
of sorrow, loss, and strife.

But then…

soft and sure and ancient,
another voice broke through,
the voice that made the mountains,
the voice that made me too.

“Do not fear, for I am with you.”
Not — do not fear, for the road is smooth.
Not — do not fear, for the storm won’t come.
Not — do not fear, for the pain won’t touch you
or the battle will be easily won.

But simply

I am with you.
And somehow,
that is everything.

When the diagnosis came
and the room went cold and still,
when the tears fell faster than the prayers,
when fear said this will kill

He was there.

When the marriage shook at its foundation,
when the children walked away,
when the money ran out on a Tuesday
and there was nothing left to say

He was there.

Not watching from a distance,
not seated high and far,
but closer than the fear itself,
closer than the scar.

“I will strengthen you,” He promised,
“and I will help you stand.
I will uphold you, keep you,
with My righteous, mighty hand.”

Oh, what a hand that is

the hand that formed the galaxies,
that set the oceans in their place,
that counts the hairs upon my head
and knows my name and knows my face.

That hand is holding me.
So faith is not the absence
of the trembling and the tears.

Faith is choosing Truth out loud
in the very face of fears.
Faith is saying I don’t see it,
but I trust the One who does.
Faith is standing on the promises
not because the fear is gone —
but because He is greater
than whatever fears live on.

Fear says you are on your own.
Fear says no one sees your pain.
Fear says what you’re walking through
will swallow you whole again.

But faith

faith lifts its eyes and answers,
faith stands up and speaks the Word,
faith reminds the darkness fiercely
of every promise ever heard.

Do not fear.

He said it to the weary.
He said it to the lost.
He said it to the ones who wondered
if following Him was worth the cost.

He says it still today
to you, in your particular pain,
in your specific, private battle,
in the middle of your storm and rain.

Do not fear.

I am with you.
I will strengthen.
I will hold.

This is the God who never leaves you,
whose faithfulness will never grow cold.

So let fear knock.

Let it rattle at the door.

You know the One who stands beside you
and He is

greater,

greater,

greater

than whatever you are facing.
Walk in faith.
He’s already there. 🕊️

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
— Isaiah 41:10 💛

What looked like loss in the eyes of men was already victory in the plan of God.

The cross was not the end of hope, it was the beginning of salvation.
The tomb was not a symbol of defeat, it was the place where redemption was secured.

Because in Heaven’s language, what looks finished on earth can already be fully accomplished in eternity. 🤍🙏🏻

Today is Holy Wednesday…
And betrayal is in the air

The crowds have thinned
The questions have slowed
The tension is still there
but it’s settling into something heavier

Something unseen
but already in motion

Because while Jesus was still teaching
still loving
still walking toward the cross

a decision was being made in the dark

Judas slipped away

Not in a loud rebellion
not in a moment anyone would have noticed

Just quietly

Step by step
away from the One he had followed

Coins exchanged hands

Thirty pieces of silver
the price of betrayal

And it’s easy to read that
and feel distant from it

To think
I would never

I would never trade Him for something so small

But Holy Wednesday doesn’t let us stay there

Because betrayal is rarely loud

It’s subtle

It looks like compromise
It sounds like justification
It feels like holding onto something
while still trying to follow Him

And I wonder

How often do I stay close enough
to look like I’m with Him

but far enough
to keep control

How often do I choose what’s easy
what’s comfortable
what benefits me

over what is right

Because Judas didn’t start here

He walked with Jesus
He saw the miracles
He heard the truth

And still

something else had his heart

And that’s what this day exposes

Not just betrayal
but divided devotion

The places where we say His name
but hold back our surrender

The places where we follow
but only to a point

Because Jesus was never after part of you

Not most of you
Not the pieces that are easy to give

All

And on this quiet Wednesday

before the cross
before the crowd
before the nails

we are faced with a question

What is He worth to me

Not in words
not in belief

but in what I choose

Because somewhere between Sunday’s praise
and Friday’s cross

a heart decided

He was worth less

So today

come closer

Not halfway
not with conditions

but fully

Because He is still walking toward the cross

Still choosing you

And He is worth everything

Palm Sunday reminds us… not every celebration understands the full story. The crowds shouted “Hosanna!” welcoming a King... yet they didn’t see the cross that was coming. Jesus came humbly. Not with force, but with love. Not to take a throne, but to carry a cross. ✝️ What looked like a moment of praise was the beginning of sacrifice. And still… He came. For you. For me. For all of us. 🙌

This week, don’t just celebrate... slow down and reflect on the depth of His love. We’ve created devotionals and peaceful worship to help you walk through Holy Week with intention and a deeper connection to Jesus. Worship + devotionals in bio. 💛

What does Palm Sunday mean to you today?

A prayer for Palm Sunday

Ever-living God, let this mind be in us which was also in Christ Jesus: that as he from his loftiness stooped to the death of the cross, so we in our lowliness may humble ourselves,
believing,
obeying,
living,
and dying,
to the glory of the Father; for Jesus Christ’s sake.
Amen

Palm Sunday

Now to the gate of my Jerusalem,

The seething holy city of my heart,

The saviour comes. But will I welcome him?

Oh crowds of easy feelings make a start;

They raise their hands, get caught up in the singing,

And think the battle won. Too soon they’ll find

The challenge, the reversal he is bringing

Changes their tune. I know what lies behind

The surface flourish that so quickly fades;

Self-interest, and fearful guardedness,

The hardness of the heart, its barricades,

And at the core, the dreadful emptiness

Of a perverted temple. Jesus come

Break my resistance and make me your home.

People will often define you by what they see right now. Your past. Your position. Your struggles. Your mistakes. David’s brothers saw a shepherd boy in a field. But God saw a king in the making. Never forget... the opinion that matters most is the One who created you. God sees purpose where others see ordinary. He sees calling where others see limitations. Let God define who you are. 🙏

If you’ve found encouragement here, you’ll love the deeper devotionals and worship waiting for you on our site — Link in bio.

Happy Epiphany! Did you know that the traditional 'New Year' for Christians is the first Sunday of Advent, but that for some Orthodox and Coptic churches, the 'New Year' starts on Epiphany? I've started following some Christian teachers who dig deep into the original languages, authors, and lessons of the Bible. Some of their lessons are even expressed through humor! Today, as we celebrate the visit of the 'Priests from the East' (Magi) to the Holy Family months or even years after Jesus's birth, it has been suggested that their gifts represent the precious items stolen from the Temple hundreds of years earlier when Jerusalem was conquered by 'Gentiles' - ie, anyone who wasn't a Jew. Isn't it fascinating that the first recorded foreign Dignitaries to visit Jesus were from a region of their previous conquerors? And, they were led by the Hebrew GOD to follow an astronomical light (The Star) to WORSHIP the Messiah, not just to greet him! O, Come Let us continue to join together to worship and adore Him, Christ The Lord! Image credit: Stock Image
