A Church Called Christ In 1960 a research study was done to find out the need for an additional church on the east side of Salisbury. Dan Higgins as pastor. Hermon Church.

Our services include:
Contemporary Service
Saturday- 6pm
Traditional Service
Sunday- 10am
Kid's Church Saturday for ages 6-10 -6pm
Sunday School for all Ages- 9am
Youth Group 6-12th grades- Sundays 5-7pm
Nursery is for 5 & under
All are Welcome at CGMC As a result of this study, on June 25, 1961, an initial church service was held in the newly acquired parsonage with Rev. Subsequent services were

held at Beaver Run School. August 5, 1962 was ground breaking for the church building which was completed and the first service held on April 7, 1963. By 1965 there were 212 members and we shared our ministry with Mt. In 1981 a fellowship hall/education building was erected behind the sanctuary.

We praise Your Name with the angels and saints who call Jesus Christ Savior and Lord! Receive our worship this morning. May all worshipers gathered in Your Name, Emmanuel, experience Your living presence!
We seek Your forgiving love. Convict us and draw us to turn to You. We ask for Your perfecting love. Renew our hope in You and transform us to follow in Your footsteps. We pray for those who need Your healing love in the world. Hear our prayers in Your Name, Jesus Christ, and reveal Your complete healing in body and spirit according to Your will. We lift ourselves up to You; make us the church You called us to become. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, thanking You for hearing our prayers. Amen.

🎓 Graduation Spotlight! 🎓

We are so proud of our graduates and all they have accomplished! Join us in celebrating these incredible milestones and praying for them as they begin their next chapters.

High School Graduates:
⭐ Alex Catlin- Alex Graduated Cum Laude from James M. Bennett High School and received the Presidential Award. Alex was a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society for HVAC. This fall, he plans to attend Salisbury University, major in Business, and pursue a career in Real Estate.

⭐ Jack Niblett- Jack graduated from James M. Bennett High School and will be attending Salisbury University through their Dual Degree Transfer Program, where he will spend three years earning a degree in Physics before transferring to the University of Maryland for two years to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering. Following college, Jack hopes to serve our country as an officer in the United States Navy.

College Graduate:
⭐ Courtney Lowe- Courtney graduated from Salisbury University on May 21 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Following graduation, she accepted her dream job as an Emergency Room Nurse at TidalHealth. We are excited to see the impact she will make as she cares for others in her community.

Congratulations, Alex, Jack, and Courtney! We are thankful for each of you and can't wait to see how God continues to work in your lives. Your Church family is cheering you on every step of the way! 🎉🎓❤️🙏🏻
