A Church Called Christ In 1960 a research study was done to find out the need for an additional church on the east side of Salisbury. Dan Higgins as pastor. Hermon Church.

Our services include:
Contemporary Service
Saturday- 6pm
Traditional Service
Sunday- 10am
Kid's Church Saturday for ages 6-10 -6pm
Sunday School for all Ages- 9am
Youth Group 6-12th grades- Sundays 5-7pm
Nursery is for 5 & under
All are Welcome at CGMC As a result of this study, on June 25, 1961, an initial church service was held in the newly acquired parsonage with Rev. Subsequent services were

held at Beaver Run School. August 5, 1962 was ground breaking for the church building which was completed and the first service held on April 7, 1963. By 1965 there were 212 members and we shared our ministry with Mt. In 1981 a fellowship hall/education building was erected behind the sanctuary.

Our God, whose compassion has no bounds,
We call Your holy name as we receive this day.
May we commit this day to You.
As Your worshipping community gathers, revive our first love for You, open our praying hearts before You, and then guide us to rest in You. May our worship hour be a holy and living sacrifice to You as our mouths and hearts are filled with praise and thanksgiving.
May we embrace the whole world in our prayers as we seek Your perfect will for Your creation and the people in it. In Your compassion, we ask for peace, healing, deliverance, and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.

That’s right... The Celebration Choir is BACK! 🎤🎵🙌

THIS Thursday at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary!

Then they’ll be back where we love to hear them... leading us in worship THIS SUNDAY, September 6, as they kick off their 2026/2027 season! ❤️

We are so excited to hear these voices fill the sanctuary again and make a joyful noise to the Lord!

🎒📚 Back to School Blessings from your Christ GMC family! ❤️

A BIG thank you to Mrs. Becky and Mrs. Ashley for putting together school supplies for our children and youth! We are so thankful!

This weekend we also had our Blessing of the Backpacks and had the opportunity to pray over our children and youth as they head into a new school year. We also lifted up our teachers, administrators, bus drivers, support staff, and everyone who works in our schools in any capacity. 🙏

To all of our students... work hard, be kind, have fun, and remember that God goes with you wherever you go! Your Christ GMC family loves you, is cheering you on, and will be praying for you all year long! ❤️

Today our Delmar students go back to school... And later this week more will be back and by Tuesday next week all of our young people will have started the 26/27 school year! 🙏🏾🙏🏿🙏🏼
