A Church Called Christ In 1960 a research study was done to find out the need for an additional church on the east side of Salisbury. Dan Higgins as pastor. Hermon Church.

Our services include:
Contemporary Service
Saturday- 6pm
Traditional Service
Sunday- 10am
Kid's Church Saturday for ages 6-10 -6pm
Sunday School for all Ages- 9am
Youth Group 6-12th grades- Sundays 5-7pm
Nursery is for 5 & under
All are Welcome at CGMC As a result of this study, on June 25, 1961, an initial church service was held in the newly acquired parsonage with Rev. Subsequent services were

held at Beaver Run School. August 5, 1962 was ground breaking for the church building which was completed and the first service held on April 7, 1963. By 1965 there were 212 members and we shared our ministry with Mt. In 1981 a fellowship hall/education building was erected behind the sanctuary.

It is with sadness that we share the passing of our beloved church member, Ms. Alberta Parker, who passed peacefully last night.

Ms. Alberta was a longtime member of our church family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. While our hearts grieve her loss, we find comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain and is resting in the peace and presence of our Lord.

Please keep her daughter, Debbie C. Smith, and the entire family in your prayers during this difficult time. We pray that God will surround them with His comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." – Matthew 5:4

**** Visitation is Friday, July 3, 2026 10:00AM - 12:00PM

Celebration of life is Friday, July 3, 2026 12:00PM

Burial will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park. ****

What a blessing it is to see fathers and father figures worshiping, praying, teaching, encouraging, playing, and leading their families in faith. These moments remind us that a father's influence reaches far beyond today—it leaves a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Thank you to the dads of Christ Global Methodist Church who reflect God's love through your strength, compassion, guidance, and example. We celebrate you and give thanks for the ways you point others toward Christ.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today we give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who have loved, guided, protected, and encouraged us along the way. May we celebrate the compassion and care they reflect in our lives and remember the perfect love of our Heavenly Father.

Dear Jesus, Thank You for waking us up to see today. With every breath, we want to praise Your holy Name. In Your Name, Savior, we seek Your mercy. We need You. Without You, we have no life, no today, no joy, and no peace. Help us fully breathe in Your Spirit. We want to live today seeking You alone in our thoughts, words, and actions. Therefore, we are coming into Your presence to confess our loving devotion to You. Receive our hearts and minds, and continue to mold us into Your own image. Reveal to us—Your church—Your living presence upon contrite hearts, broken spirits and bodies, the depressed, and the lost. May Your Name, Jesus Christ, alone be powerfully declared and honored. Thank You for hearing our prayers.
