We're looking forward to an exciting service tomorrow! Our retired Bishop Richard Lipka will be celebrating, we will be commissioning Owen Lipka as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, Nate Allen will be preaching, and all of us will be marking the celebration of the Body of Christ (Corpus Christi)!

Tomorrow we celebrate the feast of Pentecost! We hope you'll come and join our celebration.

Almighty God, on this day, through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, you revealed the way of eternal life to every race and nation: Pour out this gift anew, that by the preaching of the Gospel your salvation may reach to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

It's still Easter!

Alleluia. Christ our Passover has been sacrificed for us;
therefore let us keep the feast,
Not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil,
but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Alleluia.
Christ being raised from the dead will never die again;
death no longer has dominion over him.
The death that he died, he died to sin, once for all;
but the life he lives, he lives to God.
So also consider yourselves dead to sin,
and alive to God in Jesus Christ our Lord. Alleluia.
Christ has been raised from the dead,
the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
For since by a man came death,
by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.

Tomorrow is Good Shepherd Sunday! We're excited to have our retired Bishop Richard Lipka lead us in our worship of our Jesus, who has made us his own and leads us day by day.

O God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd of your people: Grant that, when we hear his voice, we may know him who calls us each by name, and follow where he leads; who, with you and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
