World Hope Worship Center's Children's Ministry is now The Forge Kids!

In today’s class, our kids learned about the promise fulfilled through the baptism in the Holy Spirit and how the Early Church came together and grew. The church is not just the building, more importantly it’s the people inside!
Today the kids made marshmallow “churches”! Whoever could grow it the largest won!

Tomorrow, our kids are learning how Jesus defeated death! We celebrate that Jesus is alive and are honored by the opportunity to share this good news with others. See you there!

Today, kids will discover why it’s important to serve others. Jesus provided the perfect example at the Last Supper when He washed the feet of His disciples. Kids will see how they can serve others in the same pattern that Jesus did.

For our lesson this week, kids will learn how to forgive others from God’s example and through the parable of The Prodigal Son. God offers forgiveness to us over and over when we sin against Him, and He expects the same forgiveness from us when others hurt us.

We are so looking forward to church today! Today we’ll be learning about when Jesus healed a sick woman after she touched the hem of his garment. She was healed because of her faith. Hope to see you there!!

A friendly reminder for tomorrow…

There will be no preschool class, but the nursery will be available for those needing it.

Our Kindergarten through 5th graders will be learning about Jacob and Esau and how God’s plan is always best. Looking forward to seeing all their smiling faces tomorrow!

I am excited to announce that our children have an amazing opportunity to attend camp this summer! Here are the details:
-Rising 2nd graders to Rising 6th graders
-Location is Camp Viewpoint in Whittier, NC
-July 21st-24th
-Cost is $280
Please let me know if anyone is interested in sending a child to camp by sending an email to [email protected]. Please don’t let cost deter you, there are fundraisers available!

Come celebrate Easter with us!!

Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we have access to a restored relationship with God and eternal life. When Jesus died on the Cross, He took our sin onto himself. Because Jesus rose again, He paid the penalty for sin—death. When we follow Him, we not only experience a better life here on earth, but also eternal life with Him. The life Jesus offers is better than anything we can imagine. It’s incredible!

In That’s Incredible!, kids will explore:
• How does Jesus’ death and resurrection offer us an incredible life?
• How can we have incredible power to live for Jesus Christ?
Kids will discover the answer to these questions and learn about the incredible story that God has planned for them.
