👋 It's Welcome Wednesday At AAB! 👋

We host our new volunteer training on the last Wednesday of the month. Say hello to our newest volunteers!

It fills our hearts to see our pantry patrons sign up to serve alongside us. Check out this impact statement from new AAB Volunteer, Carrie:
"You all have blessed me twice with healthy foods. I had a liver transplant and haven't worked in a year. I'd like to try and get my feet back working and thought what better way than pay it forward to ones that have helped."

We are incredibly grateful for your generous grant funding and staff development opportunities, which will directly support our mission to fight hunger and nourish hope in our community.

With this support, we’ll be able to enhance our food pantry to meet the growing demand of our neighbors in need. Your investment in our work will make a lasting impact! 🫶🩵

In a historic grant cycle, the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) distributed $295,000 of grant funding to 45 area nonprofits.

Robert is a veteran volunteer having served with AAB for 7 years. He is a member of our Saturday Outreach Team and serves weekly in our Bread of Life Market. He can always be found offering prayer or an encouraging word to our neighbors in need.

👩‍🏫 It's Milestone Monday At AAB! 👩‍🏫

We held our first-ever community class at our Center and it was a success!

Kudos to our partners, Bobbi McDonald with TidalHealth and Lauren Holfeld with SNAP-Ed, for co-leading an engaging class on how to be 'Heart Smart.' 👏

Their teamwork set the tone for what’s to come with our future offerings. We can't wait to host our next class, we hope to see you there!
