It’s so easy to get caught up in all the to-do’s of this busy season. In case you needed to regroup or refocus, here’s a great list of intentions or reminders as we finish out these last few weeks before Christmas. 🎄

Take you me.

When my daughter was little and wanted to be held, she would reach out her little arms and scrunch her hands open and closed and simply say, "Take you me!!!"

As I was reading something earlier this week this memory flooded my heart.

It was talking about how, for some who aren't used to seeing people freely worship with arms raised towards the Heavens, it could make them feel uncomfortable...or perhaps not understand what was going on within that person that would cause them to lift their hands in worship.

And even if you are a one who raises your arms in worship, some times you just aren't "moved" to...and that's ok, too.

But it brought me back to my baby girl...just wanting to be held, just wanting to be close and simply lifting her arms and saying, "Take you me."

And every time, we would.
We would lift her up.
Hold her tight.
And give what she needed at that moment.

And friends, maybe that's what we need to do today.
No matter if we're "feeling" it or not.
Just simply raise our arms towards the Heavens and call out to Jesus, "Take You Me!!"

To say, "Here I am!"

Here I am:
Hot mess.
Tired.
Broken.
Happy.
Sad.
Scared.
Uncertain.
Hopeful.
Struggling
Succeeding.
Sick.
[Insert where you're at here...]

Here I am.
Take You Me.

Because friends, He will do it.
He will wrap you right in His arms and give you just what you need in that moment.

That's a promise! 💛

This passage is very familiar to us, but as the Ewomen have been walking through the study called FOLLOW, we have gained an even greater understanding of the commitment Ruth made to Naomi. Throughout the book of Ruth we see that Ruth clung to Naomi, she was a foreigner and yet committed to follow Naomi back to Bethlehem, she decided that the one true God would be her God and Naomi’s people would be her people and once in Bethlehem she trusted and followed each of Naomi’s instructions.

Pastor Mark spoke yesterday on DISTRACTIONS and how one of the enemy’s greatest ploys is by means of distracting us from God’s Will and purpose for our lives. Ruth could’ve been so distracted by all the difficulties she was facing with the loss of her husband and father-in-law. The culture that she lived in, there was no hope for a woman who lost her husband. A widow was helpless and without means. Yet, Ruth did not get distracted by the difficulties, she pressed into the presence of God and sought His will and next direction for her life. I wonder today, what are the distractions that are keeping you from God’s will and direction for your life? Like Ruth, make God’s presence the priority and place the right people around you (who’s your Naomi?) and allow God to direct your steps.

🍁🍁It’s the first day of November y’all! 🍁🍁

But serious question…are you Team “let’s get the Christmas decorations out today” or are you Team “it’s too early and my pumpkins are staying out ‘til after Thanksgiving”?? Inquiring minds want to know. 🤔

Comment and let us know in the comments if you are Team Christmas 🎄 or Team Pumpkin 🎃.

Friendly Friday Reminder
Hello Ladies!
Just stopping by to ask a quick question?
In the book of Romans, we are instructed to live in peace with all men, as much as it is in our power to do.
Do you live in peace with those around you?
Do you try to bring the temperature down when it seems like things are getting a bit heated?
Is it more important to you to be right, prove your point, or are you meek enough to let it go??
Spend some time this weekend thinking about this and where you fall short, as we all do, ask for God’s grace to close the gap between your way and His will!
Have a great weekend everyone!!!

As women of faith, we are called to be set apart, to be different than everybody else. But in a world that wants us to stand out for all the wrong reasons, this can be a difficult task.

Romans 12:2 tells us “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Let’s keep our minds fixed on Jesus today and stand out for the right reasons.
➡️Instead of endlessly scrolling through the latest Instagram reels, let’s open up our Bibles and pray for someone.
➡️Instead of joining in on the gossip, let’s quietly step away from the conversation.
➡️Instead of sharing your child’s latest and greatest accomplishments, share a story of how God helped them achieve this.
➡️Instead of having the last word in an argument, let’s humble ourselves and let it go.

Let’s change culture by being different. It starts with us.

A very dear friend of mine shared her story, her testimony about how Jesus came in an rescued her from a world of heartbreak, depression and insecurity after she suffered the lost of her youngest son's father.
As I listened to her share, I couldn't stop smiling. I've heard her story before, often in fact, but I beamed because I know it's not easy for her to share what was an excruciatingly painful time in her life.
Many times, we know the stories of those we consider family, yet we don't often think about the toll it can take to revisit the pain.
Yet, her obedience is inspiring to me. I can laugh, be the charmingly annoying life of the party, but when feelings bubble to the surface, well...that's my krptonite.
Take time to tell someone this weekend how they inspire you.
I'll go first: Ivanessa Cay, you dear heart, are an inspiration!

Ok, friends.
Read this.

And then read it again!

Let's be women who takes sides with God against our feelings of rejection today.

Friendly Friday Reminder:
If you really believed that your choices would be the blueprint for another, would that change how you navigate conflict, how you interact with others, how you extend and receive forgiveness??

Think about it: whether you know it or not, there's someone watching you. Watching how you treat others. Watching how you respond to conflict. Ultimately, as a parent, you have been tasked with being the "architect" of your child's future choices by the way you parent them now....

There's so many blank tablets out here: what are you writing on them?
