It was an exciting day of celebration as we gathered to see 11 people choose publicly to follow Jesus and be baptized! We rejoice with each of them!

We appreciate the adaptability of everyone who attended as well, changing locations from the beach to avoid jellyfish and rough surf concerns.

We are so close to the water so youth director John Higginbotham set up a trip to Shad Landing at Pocomoke River State Park last weekend. They were small in number but our youth enjoyed a few water activities.
Did you know the Pocomoke River is the deepest water for its width in the United States and the second deepest in the world, 2nd only to the Nile River? Thanks, John, for taking the teens on an exhilarating adventure!

🛑 𝙀𝙙𝙞𝙩: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙙! 𝙒𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙗𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙥𝙤𝙤𝙡. 𝙒𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙪𝙨!

We are hoping for calmer waves this Sunday for our annual beach baptism! Here are a few memories from last summer’s event when Pastor Tri and others were a little surprised by the strong waves rolling in. 😆
We will start the baptisms at 4 pm at Assateague National Seashore - see the map this Sunday at church for the exact location. We suggest getting there a bit early to have time to park and walk down to the beach.
A picnic will follow, so bring chairs, blankets, food, snacks, whatever you’d like for time on the beach. This is always a fun, relaxing time getting to know people better.

Come celebrate the individuals who have chosen to take this public step of their commitment to Jesus. If you’d like to know more about baptism and might be considering it for yourself, contact us!

This year’s Tim Kennard River Run was one for the record books! A record-breaking $25,500 has been given back to the community, thanks to participants, donors and sponsors. Donations were presented to Coalition of Caring (an animal care organization), TEAM 360, HALO shelter, Grace Seaford Church/Gemstones Prom, the SU Rob Schultheis Fund and Salisbury Bible Fellowship.

As a thank you for again hosting the race, the committee presented Pastor Tri Evans a check for $4,000. Race day - and all the planning leading up to it - is a huge service commitment for SBF. We are grateful to each of you who helped us serve our community and share the love of Jesus.

Next year’s race is March 7 and we will again be hosting!
