Camp Discovery is a free summer camp ministry of First United Methodist Church of Salisbury. We love putting on camp for a week at Mt.

Camp Discovery was established in 2003 as an experience for rising 4th and 5th graders throughout the Rowan-Salisbury School System who may not otherwise have the opportunity to go to summer camp. Shepherd Retreat Center in Asheboro. Together with their individual mentors, campers go on hikes, learn martial arts, play in a pond, make arts and crafts, and worship the Lord. ers and mentors remind each other of God's promise in Philippians 4:13- "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We are so thankful for mentors and volunteers who make Camp Discovery possible for such wonderful and deserving kids.

As we prepare for Camp Discovery (June 7–12), we're inviting everyone to join us in praying during the week leading up to camp. Each day, we'll focus on a different group that helps make camp a life-changing experience.

Sir Tim from is returning to Camp Discovery to lead us in another session! His session is a highlight for all and a very meaningful activity.
