JOIN US AT ST. MARKS THIS SUNDAY AT 11:00AM ....
FOR THE ADVENT SEASON!!!!

The four candles of the Advent wreath specifically symbolize the Lutheran concepts of hope, peace, joy and love, with these candles being lit subsequently throughout each week of the Advent season.

“When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.” Matthew 2: 10-11

THE SEASON OF GIVING IS UPON US

The Christmas season is a season of giving; giving love and giving thanks. The holidays are also about faith, showing appreciation, and helping those in need.

Friday the members of St. Marks donated 75 lbs of food to the Rowan Helping Ministries. The giving of gifts might seem small.....but the sharing of love and giving impact others in our community .

How can you make a difference this season of giving? How can your gift change lives?

Celebrate the season of giving and echo the reason for Christ’s miraculous birth. by joining us Christmas Eve at 5:00pm for a Christmas Eve Worship Service
