If back-to-school snuck up on you, you’re not alone!

We’ve had a few people (moms, dads & grandparents alike) reach out because they missed our scheduled giveaways, so we’ll have backpacks & school supplies available during our August 20th Food for Kids (4–6pm) for any student who still needs one 🎒✏️

Exodus 4:1-12
Moses Chosen.
God doesn't recruit perfect people.
What is our relationship with God?
"What is in your hand?" vs. 2
#1 The question points to what we already have.
God loves to do the extraordinary through the ordinary!
#2 The question asks us to throw it down.
God wants us to trust Him.
The staff becomes God's staff.
God wants us to use our gifts and talents. Surrender to God.
#3 The question outlasts all our excuses. vs. 10.
An excuse is usually less a about about ourselves, but about about God.
God gives a helper to Moses.
We all have excuses. Remember who's staff it is.
God's call: 2 Corinthians
Step back and look at the big picture. Deuteronomy 18. See, the Parallels are there.
Luke 9, Jesus talks to Moses. Jesus brings the Exodus!
This week's challenge...
1. Take Inventory.
2. Throw it down.
