A Place To Encounter Jesus!

Do you know Jesus; not just know about Him, but know Him in a way that brings real life change?

And are you a fan or a follower? A fan can admire Jesus, but a follower obeys Jesus. A fan can know the stories, but a follower is changed by them.

Over the next four weeks, we’re diving into the Fourfold Gospel:

✝️ Christ Our Savior
🙌 Christ Our Healer
🔥 Christ Our Sanctifier
👑 Christ Our Coming King

For some, this will be a refresher. For others, it may be completely new. But wherever you are, our prayer is that this wouldn’t simply give us more knowledge about Jesus, it would lead to deep and lasting life change.

Who do you turn to when a crisis happens?

Join us tomorrow at 10:00am as we continue talking about trusting Jesus!

Last week, we talked about trusting Jesus with our future. We don’t have to fear tomorrow because we know who holds tomorrow.

But trusting Jesus with tomorrow starts with trusting Him today.

As we learn to trust Jesus in the ordinary moments of life, He becomes the One we naturally turn to when the extraordinary happens.

Tomorrow, we’ll be looking at John 2:1–11, the story of Jesus’ first miracle; turning water into w**e at the wedding in Cana.

But we’re going to look beyond the miracle itself.

What did people do when a crisis happened?

And what can their response teach us about where we should turn when our own moments of crisis come?

We don’t know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future.

What happens when you think about the future? Does fear or anxiety begin to rise?

In Luke 12, Jesus gives us two commands that might seem contradictory: don’t worry about tomorrow, but be prepared for tomorrow.

So what’s the difference?

Worry tries to control a future we don’t know.

Preparation trusts the One who does.

We don’t prepare because we know what tomorrow holds. We prepare because we know who holds tomorrow.

And here’s the good news:

Jesus will be in our future just as much as He is with us right now.

Join us tomorrow as we unpack the difference between worry and preparation, and learn how to face the future with faith instead of fear.

What happens after we say “AMEN”?

Last week, Steve N. challenged us to think about prayer and how God’s answers can be YES, NO, or WAIT. But prayer isn’t about getting God to do what we want—it’s about aligning our hearts with His will.

So if prayer aligns us with God’s will, what happens when we say “Amen”?

Prayer doesn’t stop when we get off our knees.

It continues in the way we live.

Before the cross, Jesus prayed, “Father, not my will, but yours, be done.” Then He got up and walked directly into the will of His Father.

Jesus didn’t just pray surrender, He lived it.

What does it look like for us to get up from our prayers and actually walk in the will of God?

One of our elder’s Steve Napier will be sharing a message on a question many of us have asked:

Why do we pray?

If God is all-knowing and all-powerful, doesn’t He already know what we need? If He has a plan for our lives, what role do our prayers play?

Together, we’ll explore these questions through Psalm 139 and Isaiah 38:1–5 and discover the purpose and privilege of prayer.

Over the last two weeks, we’ve been reminded to look to the Lord for help and to wait for Him to act. Together, these psalms don’t just tell us who God is, they remind us who we are.

When we begin to see the Lord rightly, we will begin to see ourselves rightly.

We are sons and daughters of the Father. Our identity isn’t something we create; it’s something we receive from Him.

Join us as we unpack what it means to have a Kingdom Perspective and discover how a Kingdom Perspective produces a Kingdom Identity.

Last week, we saw in Matthew 14 that when Peter cried out, Jesus immediately reached out and rescued him.

This week, we’ll turn to Psalm 121 and discover another beautiful truth:

God doesn’t just rescue His children…
He keeps them.

He is our Keeper; the One who watches over us, guards us, provides for us, and never leaves our side. He never slumbers. He never sleeps. His care for His children never ends.

What does it mean to live each day with the confidence that you are kept by the Father?

Happy Father’s Day!

Join us tomorrow at 10:00am as we celebrate fathers and worship our Heavenly Father!

In Matthew 14:22-32, Peter steps out of the boat and walks toward Jesus. But when fear overtakes his faith, he begins to sink and cries out, “Lord, save me!”

Immediately, Jesus reaches out and takes hold of him.

Tomorrow, we’ll explore a powerful truth: Jesus didn’t just reach for Peter when he was sinking, He had been holding him all along.

Paul reminds us in Romans 8 that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

The Father reaches for us when we fall because He never stopped holding us in the first place.

Come celebrate Father’s Day with us as we worship the Father who never lets go.
