God of mercy and peace,

On this day, we remember the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. We lift up in prayer all those who lost their lives, the families and friends who continue to mourn, and the first responders who sacrificed so much.

We pray for healing in our nation and for hearts open to Your grace, that we may find strength in unity and love. Lead us away from fear and toward hope, and teach us to seek justice and reconciliation in all things. Please help us to live as peacemakers in a world still marked by division, hatred, and fear.

May we never forget the courage shown and the compassion shared in the face of tragedy. May we continue to trust in You, our source of peace and hope. Amen.

Lord, on this Labor Day, we thank You for the blessing of work. We ask for strength to complete each day. We ask for rest when we are weary. We ask Your guidance for everyone seeking employment, and we ask that You be with those whose faces we might never see but who work tirelessly each day for the good of us all. Amen.
