Since 1894, we’ve served our community with essential services, food distributions, disaster assistance, community events, after-school programs for kids, and engaging classes for seniors. We are here to serve individuals and families in the Salinas Valley with essential services.

Our Farewell Sunday. 🥰😭
In The Salvation Army, moving is a regular part of ministry—it's simply part of the calling. Sometimes you're only in a community for a couple of years, and if you're "lucky," you're blessed with six years like we were.
Over the past six years, the beautiful community of Salinas has truly become home. We have grown, been stretched, stepped out of our comfort zones, met incredible people, walked alongside others in their faith journeys, and shared life with our wonderful corps family, dedicated staff, and amazing community partners.
Looking back, it's clear that God knew we needed Salinas. This beautiful city and its incredible people have left an everlasting mark on our hearts. We have been changed, challenged, and blessed in more ways than we can express.
Our hearts are heavy because goodbyes—or perhaps more accurately, "see you laters"—are never easy. We will deeply miss this beautiful community, our amazing congregation, our hardworking and faithful employees, our community partners, and the many dear friends who have become family.
Thank you for welcoming us, loving us, serving alongside us, and allowing us to be part of your lives. Thank you for the beautiful memories, the laughter, the prayers, and the countless moments we'll treasure forever. Salinas will always hold a special place in our hearts. May God continue to richly bless this wonderful community.

Last Sunday, we celebrated Father's Day at church with a wonderful time of worship, fellowship, and a delicious lunch. It was a joy to honor and celebrate the incredible men in our lives. We pray that God will continue to guide, equip, strengthen, and bless each one of them as they faithfully lead and serve their families.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the women of our church who helped make the day so special by cooking, bringing pizza, serving, and providing delicious desserts and other food items. Your love, generosity, and willingness to serve are such a blessing. We truly couldn't do what we do without each of you. Thank you!

Salinas Corps Women’s Ministries

What a beautiful and blessed evening we shared together. My heart is so thankful for each of these incredible women. Their love, faith, encouragement, and willingness to serve are a true blessing to our Corps and to everyone around them.
My prayer is that God will continue to strengthen, guide, and use each one of them for His glory. May they keep growing in His grace and shining His love wherever He leads them. So grateful for every one of you! ❤️🙏
