The Lutheran Church of Our Savior is dedicated to meeting the needs of our community and the changing lives through Jesus Christ. The Divine Service is the service in which God offers His free

gift of forgiveness of sins to us, poor,needy sinners. We receive, by the Holy Spirit, faith in Jesus through Holy Baptism. That faith is strengthened through the hearing of God’s Sacred Word and receiving His Holy Body and Blood through the Lord’s Supper. In this same Divine Service we give thanks and sacrifice to God for these gifts. We do so with our prayers of thanksgiving and praise, with hymns of worship that proclaim His glory and with our offerings. In all of this we are part of the eternal Holy Christian Church. We are Redeemed, Renewed, and Make Alive in Christ by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus by His Holy Spirit. We celebrate this in our Divine Service as is has and will be done forever. Jesus has also called us to be His witness in spreading the gospel to all people and serving others as He did. As faithful Christians, we strive to bring Jesus to the Salinas Valley and the world. Our members come from throughout the Central Valley. Our Savior is affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) and millions of confessional Lutherans worldwide.
