Fr. LeRoy Metro Funeral Information - Fr. LeRoy Metro served at St. Elizabeth’s 1993-1997. He passed away on March 6. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Thursday, March 26, at St. E’s, with a vigil service beginning at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Friday, March 27, at St. E’s, with Bishop Gerald Vincke presiding. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Catholic Charities in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401. Fr. LeRoy shared his vocation story in 2011. May 6-9 and May 13-16.
• Schedule your professional photography session when you stop by the sign-up table after mass or schedule online. If we don’t see your name on our list of appointments, you will receive a phone call inviting you to participate.
• To schedule your photography appointment online, simply go to www.ucdir.com, click on Photography Session Sign-Up, enter KS241 in the Church Code field and enter Parish241 in the Church Password field. Follow the prompts to schedule your family’s appointment time. If you have 5 or more in your family, please use 2 consecutive time slots. For assistance in setting your appointment please call 816-501-8652.
• Did you know that you could invite a friend or family member to take a picture? While they won’t appear in our book, they will get a free 8x10 and an opportunity to to purchase pictures of their familiy. How about a group picture of multi-generation family (grandparents with children and grandchildren).
• Universal Church Directories work hard regarding not applying pressure to buy photos. While we want to give everyone the opportunity to purchase pictures, we also respect your wishes and work hard at making your experience with us professional and hassle free.

Rethinking Justice Workshop - Concerned about challenges in your community: homelessness, affordable housing, drug addiction, lack of mental health care? Have you felt helpless to do anything because you are just one person? Central Kansas Justice Ministry is sponsoring a Rethinking Justice workshop on Saturday, March 21, 10am, at St. Elizabeth Church Parish Hall. The workshop will present the biblical call to do justice as well as some practical ideas from what other communities have done to gather large numbers of people together to accomplish more.

PRE for Grades 1-6 –
If you are wanting to enroll your child(ren) in PRE for this coming school year, we have OPTIONS!
1. Online Registration and payment is available now at https://giving.myamplify.io/App/Form/11f6700a-6275-488c-bdc7-d83039b90a68.
2. Hard copy Forms are available to print at www.stesalina.org or to pick up in the mezzanine area.
This will be for any child in grades 1-6 who are not attending Catholic school. Mary Harmon at 785-493-1903 or [email protected].
The Grades 1-6 PRE Year begins with the Parent and Student Meeting on September 10 at 6:45pm. Registration should be completed BEFORE SEPT 3.

Confirmation Preparation PRE for Youth –
There is a two year Confirmation Preparation Program at St. Elizabeth’s. A student is able to enter this preparation program once they are in at least 7th grade).
