Class Fees
• $20 per class or
• $80 for all 4 classes in June
• 𝐒𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞: $150 per month for 2 students (when they sign up together)

Thanks be to God! Power has been restored to Sacred Heart Cathedral and the Diocesan Chancery Offices.

The Ordination Mass will proceed as originally planned at Sacred Heart Cathedral today! The reception and first blessings will still take place immediately following the Mass at St. Mary, Queen of the Universe Parish Hall, located at 230 E. Cloud Street in Salina.

Thanks be to God! Power has been restored to Sacred Heart Cathedral and the Diocesan Chancery Offices.

I am pleased to share that the Ordination Mass will proceed as originally planned at Sacred Heart Cathedral today! The reception and first blessings will still take place immediately following the Mass at St. Mary, Queen of the Universe Parish Hall, located at 230 E. Cloud Street in Salina.

Thank you to everyone who offered prayers during this unexpected situation. Your prayers were heard, and we are deeply grateful for the many individuals and utility crews who worked diligently to restore power to our community.

On this Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we give thanks above all to God for His providential care and many blessings. We also entrust our gratitude to the intercession of our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph.

Please continue to pray for our ordinands as they prepare to offer their lives in service to Christ and His Church.

❤️‍🔥🙏🏼 Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Heart is the symbol of human love. This Catholic devotion honors the Sacred Heart of Our Lord, through which was manifested to us God’s eternal love for everyone. “God is Love” (1 John 4:8), and so in honoring the human expression of that Love, especially on the Cross, we honor Its Divine Source.

In 1675, Jesus told St. Margaret Mary that He wanted the Feast of the Sacred Heart to be celebrated on the Friday after the Corpus Christi octave. In 1856, the Feast of the Sacred Heart became a universal feast.

St. John Paul II, a great devotee of the Sacred Heart, said, “This feast reminds us of the mystery of the love of God for the people of all times.” ❤️‍🔥🙏🏼

IMPORTANT ORDINATION UPDATE BELOW:

Due to the storm causing a power outage at the Cathedral, we are waiting until tomorrow morning at 9am to make a final decision on the ordination location. We are hopeful the power will be restored in time!

Please also note: Regardless of where the ordination takes place, the reception and first blessings will now be held at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Parish Hall immediately following the ordination.
