With grateful hearts and excitement for what God has ahead, we are thrilled to officially welcome Dr. Wesley Scoggins and his family to Salemburg Baptist Church as our new Pastor!

After much prayer, seeking, and trust in God’s guidance, we believe the Lord has faithfully led us to the man He has prepared for this season of ministry at SBC.

Dr. Scoggins brings years of pastoral leadership, discipleship, teaching, and ministry experience, along with a deep love for God’s Word and for people. Those who know him describe him as humble, caring, wise beyond his years, and someone who teaches Scripture in a way that is both truthful and easy to understand. Most importantly, he has a heart for helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are also excited to welcome his wife, Ashley, and their children, Lucy and Seth, into our church family.

Please join us in praying for the Scoggins family as they begin this new chapter with us, and help us give them a warm Salemburg Baptist welcome! We are believing God has incredible things in store for our church and community in the days ahead.

Volunteers are needed to help place flags as we honor and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our country. ❤️🤍💙

We are also accepting requests for flag tags to be added in honor or memory of a loved one. If you would like to include someone, please email, call, or stop by the church office to have their name added.

This is always such a meaningful time of remembrance and fellowship together as a church family and community. We would love to have you join us! 🇺🇸

Update on Aiden: From Sammy Jo/Mom:
"My mama heart was so full being with all 4 of my boys together yesterday! Today was a great day for Aiden! He was able to get the NG tube removed and his intestines are starting to mobilize! God is so so good!! Please continue praying!! 🙏🏼"
