𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝘽𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙤𝙭- As we prepared the Community Room for Memorial weekend, we noticed we were running low on laundry soap and a few other basic supplies that help support those who visit and rely on our 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝘅.

As prayers were lifted for those needs, an unexpected gift was discovered in the donation box. A generous donor had left $100, likely by one of the many groups hosted at Shannondale.

Moments like these remind us that God often provides through the kindness and generosity of others. We are deeply grateful for every person who helps make the 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝘅 possible and for the many ways our community continues to care for one another.

If you have ever wondered how you might support this ministry, donations of household essentials such as laundry detergent, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and nonperishable food items are always appreciated. Today is Annalee 's last day of high school!
She has been with Shannondale for 2 years
Taking care and doing a wonderful Job of maintaining the lawns and endless painting!

Volunteers are needed to staff the store on summer and fall weekends: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Shannondale staff may open the store at other times as well.

Volunteers are welcome to stay free at Pinecone Cottage or in the camping areas (with family members if you wish) while volunteering for a weekend. Pinecone Cottage is reserved from Thursday evening through Sunday afternoon. If you would like to stay Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday nights, please arrange that with Thresa Enloe, Shannondale Hospitality Lead, at 573-858-3284.

When signing up, please note in the comments whether you will use Pinecone Cottage, camping, or if no lodging is needed.

• There is a space in the back of the Craft Store for volunteers. A bell on the front door automatically rings when anyone enters, just in case you are not in sight of the door. The space includes a table and chairs, coffee pot, microwave, mini fridge, and free popcorn. There is also another refrigerator in the front for selling water and soda.

• The porch from the former building is still available, with a picnic table, outdoor chairs, and hummingbird feeders. Feel free to sit outside and enjoy the setting, or stay inside between customers.

Shannondale is located on Highway 19 between Salem and Eminence, about 6 miles north of Echo Bluff State Park in the beautiful Current River region of the Ozarks.

We are excited to announce that the Craft Store has moved into the climate-controlled building next door. To celebrate, our talented Ozark artisans will be demonstrating their handmade crafts throughout the morning and afternoon at the pavilion and at the loom in the Community Center.

In addition to the wide variety of items available in our new store, we will feature a sidewalk sale out front. Home-baked goods and cold beverages will also be available for purchase.
